It works well and love the feature which the agitator can be removed. Now I can washed double loads of clothes and comforter. The clothes are cleaner than my old one. I have brought the extended warranty for some reviews say it breaks easily. But I have used it for a month now and love it.A little noisy but tolerable. The only down side is there is no compartment for the Fabric softener.

So I just bought this July 2022. Within the first year or so I already needed it serviced because it made a very loud squealing noise. Whirlpool had to send over one of their contracted repair guys in the area and they had to special order and replace some drum bearing thing. After you purchase Whirlpool will offer you to register and purchase their extended warranty service. I cannot stress how important it is to purchase it for both your washer and dryer. The longest possibly warranty you can get. You will use it and need this. Washer and dryers go through so much. You don't even have to pay a deductible, it's all covered for any repairs once you have the warranty. That being said I still do love this washer because at the time of my purchasing this is the only washer on the market that allows you to remove the agitator piece. It's completely optional based on what you need washed. You can leave it on if needed or take it off if you don't and it's so good having that option!!! It's a very nice washer. The top is clear glass so you can look in as well. I did a lot of research before purchasing our first washing machine and apparently it's better for your clothes to have a top load than a side load. Super easy to operate. It makes a cute noise chime when it's done. Lots of options for washing any combination of clothing you have. There’s also a little water faucet on the corner inside so you can quickly wash something off before throwing it into the actual wash! Also you'll need to get some "affresh" washing machine tablets. This is recommended by Whirlpool. TRUST ME DON'T SKIP THIS STEP! You'll want to follow the instructions and use one tablet every month to keep your washer clean and running well. Every since I made sure we always use a tablet to clean every month it's actually made a huge difference in keeping the washer running smoothly. It started squealing again but it completely stopped and became a normal washer now that we're regularly maintaining it with these tablets as recommended. We've washed SO MANY LOADS at this point. We are going into year 3 with this washer and we love it now. It's done a great job washing all our clothes without issue. The hiccup was that first year but ever since it's been really smooth sailing and no more issues! ALSO. I want to point out the glass top on this washer is VERY WELL BUILT. We have cabinets above the washer and some pretty heavy detergent things there. One of the shelves broke and the VERY HEAVY DETERGENT FELL FULL FORCE onto that glass top load door. I FREAKED out I thought there's no way it's not broken. But no. Not a scratch. Not a dent. I was incredibly relieved and impressed. I’m very glad I bought this. The only thing that would have made it better was if it had auto-sensing.

Buying online isn't as easy. The machine works great. I miss not knowing how much time the cycle is or how much time is left. I love the removable agitator. The tank is smaller than I realized. However, it washes well and doesn't destroy clothing. My clothes look nicer after drying than they ever have. Good washer, does a great job. Reminds me of being back before all the bells and whistles happened. I'm happy with my purchase.

Purchased this washer because of the removable agitator, which is great when washing large comforters and also for more delicate fabrics. Haven’t tried it with delicates yet, but a bulky king size comforter fits in easily and comes out clean, so great score there. Drawbacks are it’s a bit noisier than my last machine, and washer seems a little unbalanced and noisy for spin cycle, but it settles down and laundry is ready for dryer. Harder to add additional items once cycle has started than in my previous washer, which takes a little getting used to, but I’m generally happy with this product, as benefits outweigh drawbacks.

I'm really like this washing machine. Good size capacity, removable agitator. The machine washes clothes well Simple to use I like to see through lid, which is also soft close by the way, which is excellent. You can hear the power in the machine when it washes, I love it.

The things I love: removable agitator which is very easy to put in and out for large bulky items; I also love the faucet feature. The things I'm not loving is the lack of a detergent dispenser and lack of a timer to let you know when it's done. Admittedly I opted for a machine that wasn't super techy (wifi enabled). It is large enough for king size bedding and seems to get the job done but the cycle times are a bit of guess work. I did find an estimate of the times online after some searching. It is also a bit louder than my old machine.

Washes great. It's a little loud but for the price it's ok. It's nice that the agitator can be removed so I am able to wash bulky items like comforters.

I saw a commercial on a Whirlpool washer with a removable agitator and it totally sucked me in. I was obsessed with finding one. I have an older home so my space is limited for a washer and dryer. This one fit perfectly in the space, it’s not oversized but it fits my king size bedding just fine and also has a deep water feature. It has the removable agitator and it’s very user friendly. I like simple and don’t need all the fancy upgrades like those washers that connect to my phone. If you want a basic washer with good features including the removable agitator, then this is a good buy. It’s easy to take the agitator out and put it back in. The washer doesn’t make a ton of noise. My clothes and blankets feel clean and smell great. I’m happy with my purchase and I would definitely buy this again.

Not nearly as loud as other reviews claim. Much quieter than my old one from the 90s. Cleans very well and the removable agitator is great for cleaning thick blankets and towels. Only downside is even quick clean takes a bit. All in all a great machine worth every penny.

This unit looks great and stylish. It's single turn knob is easy to operate the machine with, along with a few other buttons such as water temperature, extra rinse/softener, and high water level/30 minute soak. Overall the machine top load washer performs much better than our older front load washer as far as cleaning goes. This is not a HE washer and uses older style belt drive system to propel it's basket. My grandma had a Whirlpool washer and it lasted over 20 years so we purchased one ourselves. Surprisingly it has lots of different load type options on the turn dial and they all work great with the type of load you specify and put into the washer. Also the removable agitator is a great bonus to have with a washer machine. It is great to remove the agitator when washing gentle loads or sheets so they don't get all twisted up. I would definitely recommend to a friend or family member.

Not sure about some reviews saying its loud...I do not think so at all. Very roomy inside and the removable agitator is really nice. Love that its American made. My last Whirlpool washer and dryer lasted 20+ years.

It is a great washer. Clothes come out feeling and smelling better. Love the agitator definitely help clean items being washed. The only down side we have with it is that it’s a ittle louder then expected.

Recently purchased this washer. Pros: It has a removable agitator, and since I have a king-size comforter, this works great. Love the built-in wash station. Cons: You have to manually put in the fabric softner during the rinse cycle, or you can use a downey ball. This machine is very loud. Overall, the washer does a great job of getting my laundry clean.
