Had to spend an hour with a Whirlpool answer person to try to figure out how to disable the automatic soap dispenser. The instructions tell you to disable it when necessary. Then, the instructions don't tell you HOW to disable it.

It has a delicate cycle but it is truly not like other delicate "hand wash " cycles I have had on other washers. Spin is too fast and wrinkles clothes. I am having an issue with the auto soap dispenser as well.

Avoid Buying this Washer

Delivery went very smoothly. However, right after the two-week return period, our problems started. Error codes that were hard to understand started to appear. The washer would stop mid cycle. The Clean Up cycle would not run. Now five weeks after delivery, the washer is not working properly. I am told that we need a new control panel which is a big deal. Whirlpool has awful customer service. I can't think of any reason to recommend this machine. There are too many other great products available with manufacturers who go out of their way to solve customer problems. May advice is to buy one of their washers.
