Element(s) Not Glowing Elements start and stop glowing when turned on because the cooktop elements cycle on and off. This prevents the cooktop from reaching extreme temperatures that may damage the glass surface. In low settings, such as Keep Warm, the elements do not glow but will maintain the right temperature. This also applies when using the warming element, simmer, or warm zone features. The simmer control knob has two settings: Simmer and Normal. When the control is set to Normal, the element will function as a single, a dual, or a triple element. Was not happy at all I paid fo the tech pkg, to have it installed , they didn’t install I had to pay someone out my pocket to it, was told by the delivery company I would be compensated in which I was never was or heard from them so I wouldn’t recommend y’all to anyone

Worst quality stove top scratches very easily. Within months of purchase I found a chip on glass. Nothing anyone can do about it so disappointed

Has a dent when delivered, Best Buy hasn't taken care of the problem yet and it has been almost two months.

This oven is fine.
What is not “fine” is how I came to purchase it.
Previous Samsung oven is a dangerously designed product that easily started a fire.
Then two months of battling with Best Buy, Geek Squad & Samsung who all said fire was my fault. It was not.
Finally went back to Best Buy, spoke with manager & got dangerous Samsung product replaced.
I am now physically & emotionally recovering from dangerous fire and Best Buy, Geek Squad &
Samsung incompetence.

This was to replace my Maytag range. As they are basically the same without the convection feature. HOWEVER i was not aware that the edges of the range didn't cover the counter top cut out for the slide in. The Maytag has what they call True fit ,my old range covered up the edge of the counter. I needed to buy an edge cover that slides in between the range & counter to cover the gap!
