All of our major appliances are whirlpool and we didn't see a need to try a different brand. Here are the things we like about the new washer. Large capacity. Easy to use. A reminder to use the clean setting on the washer every 30 loads for self cleaning. The only thing I would have liked to have seen would have been a little louder end of cycle tone but this is not a big deal.

No longer Skeptical of Front load

Broke Inside of 30 days - Door latch

Purchased on 6/6/19 worked great until 6/28/19. Door refused to latch close. Report problem to Whirlpool warranty support on 6/28/19. 7/2/19 Whirlpool assigned repair tech came out and diagnosed problem as bad door latch module. Had to special order part. Tech said part would take 3-5 day to come in. Still waiting for tech response on eta. Today is 7/5/19. I been to a laundromat twice since then. I can think of better things I could be doing with my time and money. Questionable purchase. Not a great start.

The price was as good as, if not better than, the competition. The salesperson was pleasant and knowledgeable and handled everything very quickly and efficiently. He even found us an additional $50 discount on each piece of equipment since we purchased both a Whirlpool washer and dryer. Delivery was on time and the installers were in and out in no time!

The hinge, to keep the lid on the machine and locked, broke and we found a YouTube video on how to do a cheap quick fix on it with two large metal clips. That gave us a few months to look around for a replacement. We knew we had to have a large one and saw this beast. Never had a front end loader and it is incredible. We live on a farm with water from a well, so water simply recycles into the water table. A machine with water saver tech was not important. That truly is its only downside for us, and not a big deal. This is easy to use and does an outstanding job cleaning. The buttons are easy to understand and use. Great job Whirlpool!

Clothes are coming out clean, but I haven't put it to the test either. I haven't been able to use all the features available yet. Unfortunately, the matching dryer is defective & this set it going back to BB ASAP. The bin is large and impressive and there are many neat features.

I love all the washing options and the size. I can finally wash all my quilts at home. With a family of six and kids in activities it is a great option to have the load and go. I really am satisfied.
