Terrific range
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as part of a kitchen upgrade. Haven't had a gas range in over 20 years so I've forgotten how to use. It's taking time to adjust to a quicker cook time. But that's okay, that's my issue. Otherwise, it cooks fantastic. Use the convection bake to make great pizzas. Self-clean really cleans. No residue. Only complaints I had was: A) Bottom drawer, for pans, is very cheaply made in comparison to the heavy-duty one I had in the old range. B) I guess it's been a long time since I bought a range but now days, broiler pans don't come with the range, you have to purchase them separately. Again, this is probably because I'm out of sync with the world. lol

Cook top burners and grate poorly planned
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stove and oven is very pretty but cooktop is engineered crazy. It looks nice and roomy because of the edge to edge grate but it is not. Five burners cannot accommodate multiple pots and pans because burners are placed too closely together. Even just using the four outside burners at the same time is difficult and pans knock into pots. Small pots don’t balance well on the grate. There is too much gap In the grate directly over each burner and small pots tilt and don’t sit straight. It is evident that a stylist designed this stove not a busy cook. I don’t like the super high BTU burner either. Way too hot to cook most everything. Want to use it on low heat but only my frying pans and large to medium pots have a large enough bottom to cover the lowest flame of this big burner. It is very useful for boiling a big pot of water fast. When you put a big pot on the front burners as intended by their high BTU’s, you cannot fit another medium to large pot on a back burner. The smallest burner is great for all day simmering of soups and corned beef but because it is a back burner the big pot is up against the back of the stove. Sorry I bought this stove. I do like the grates lifting on hinges for cleaning of stove top. That was smart. Cannot evaluate the convection oven as I have yet to use it. Oven is very roomy and I like it and the controls. I have had this stove for a few months and use it a lot.

Hard to clean and defective ignition
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased in september, but the oven only works occasionally. It just wont light. Here we are on thanksgiving day with no oven. The intermittent nature of the defect means it is hard for technicians to diagnose. It works when they are standing there. It is also difficult to clean and shows stains easily. Basically I feel we bought a lemon.
