after a year, the front glass broke during normal cooking

We bought this gas range to go with the matching Whirlpool range hood and dishwasher, and we have been very happy with it. The broiler and over work great, and I love having 5 burners. The large grates make for an easy cleaning cooking area. It was also extremely easy to install and level.

This range is a good value for the cost with five burners of a varied BTU output and a perfect match to our other Whirlpool stainless steel appliances. Bear in mind that this unit does not have convection or self-cleaning capabilities that one would expect with higher priced units. Our only complaint with this range is the materials chosen for the top and control panel surface. The black stove top shows every speck, drop, or wisp that finds a place on it and the surface is most difficult to keep clean the same can be said for the stainless steel accent piece on the control panel. With that said, we've learned to be overly careful when cooking in order to avoid any extra cleaning maintenance.

Clean, simple, easy to operate and clean. Extra burner helpful for large meals. Flat top griddle great for simple sandwiches and quick pancakes. Nice to have the broiler separate when baking or broiling. So far only thing not ideal is broiler not very even when heading so move the pan around to get better results.

My favorite appliance. She be cooking¡! I love gas stoves. This five burner with grill plate one of the best!

I looked around for quite some time, did extensive comparison shopping and read probably thousands of various product reviews before deciding on this model. It is exactly what I wanted. I like the way it bakes, cooks, and the way the griddle is on one side instead of the middle. It is easy to clean, nice to look at, and I am very happy with it. Delivery ended up being a week later than promised, the only disappointing aspect of the whole transaction.

I had been looking to replace my very old gas stove, and the price on this one was the best I'd seen. Overall, I am very happy with it---it looks good, works well, and does all the basics I need done, with the added advantage of coming with a removable griddle. My only problems were in installing it (I needed to replace the gas cutoff valve, and wasn't told this in advance, which delayed and complicated installation) and in using the control panel, which is not explained well in the instructions. I had to randomly try several methods of setting the clock, and I am still unclear on how exactly to operate the oven. Once I manage to get it working, it works very well, but I still feel as though I just push buttons until it begins to heat up. This makes using the oven annoying. Clear instructions would have caused me to give it full marks; as it is, I can't award it the highest marks. But I will still recommend it to a friend---maybe they can figure it out and then show me how to work the controls!

Delivery of the new/removal of the old was actually early the day of delivery (they called to say they were ahead of schedule and the earlier timing worked better for me, which was helpful). If you expect them to unhook your old stove, be sure your house is up to code with a shut off gas value behind the old oven (ours wasn't but my plumber was nearby and willing to come right over at the last minute to assure the deliverers that the gas was shut off so the old stove could be unhooked and removed). The feet at the bottom of the oven screwed easily to make it level. It all works great and looks really nice. I had read reviews to learn that it didn't have a broiler pan or a rack in the broiler area...I got a small broiler pan online for $15 instead. It would be nice to have that extra rack...not that I do a lot of baking/broiling at the same time to make it matter, though. I'm glad I chose this range!

Great stove for an amazing price. The stove looks great; the large viewing window and the five burner cooktop with the dual satin covered grill are amazing.

Small dent on side, but great stove. Full burner grill makes placing pans anywhere is easy. Burners are very good to cook with and easy to adjust the flame. The stove cooks everything perfect. I checked the oven temp to my thermometer and it stays at the same temperature continuously. The top is very easy to keep clean. Love it.

I haven't had much chance to use it yet. Assembly and installation was easy. Baking seems to work well. Things have come out evenly cooked and properly cooked in the recommended amount of time, so no complaints there. I have only used one burner so far, but its been more than powerful enough and seems to heat evenly. The full coverage grate over the burners works well for me, but may be more of a burn hazard for kids as it transfers heat further to the edge of the top of the stove. Initially it seemed to be poorly insulated, but I haven't noticed excessive heat radiating from the oven since the first day. The electronics could be better. It has a timer, but it isn't linked to the oven control, so it can't turn off the oven after a set amount of time. I would love to have that as an extra precaution against for getting to turn off the oven.

My kitchen looks incredible with this stove! Easy clean up and the burners are separated carefully. Griddle was a bonus for me. Affordable and definitely worth what I paid.

We decided it was finally time to replace our old gas range, as a number of things weren't working well on it. This time, instead of buying the absolute cheapest one we could find, we went for the options we wanted. We're very pleased with this one: the griddle gets almost daily use, the simmer burner keeps a nice even low temperature, and the large burners are downright blowtorches. The oven seems very consistent and very large for a standard sized range. Controls are easy and relatively intuitive. My only caveat is that I wish it had in-oven broiler instead of lower, but I like the flip-down door instead of the old-fashioned drawer-type broiler. Overall, a very large improvement over our old range.

We’ve recently finished updating the kitchen and this stove was the perfect fit. It’s a good size oven that will do all my baking from bread, to cookies, to main entrees. The five stove burner is pretty cool too. I haven’t used all five at once, but pretty cool feature. I’m sure when the holidays come around I’ll be using all five but for every day use it does the job. I initially thought the cleaning was going to be a hassle but it’s actually quite simple.

This stove was definitely more than I bargained for. The stove top rack is composed of two pieces that allows for you to have the 4 main burners on but still allows for other pots to be warmed up or slowly simmered (I imagine this scenario come Thanksgiving time). The two front burners are high powered for larger pots of fare such as boiling water for spaghetti or frying up some steaks. The back burners are more for simmering such as gravies or frying up bacon but could definitely take on the function of the front burners (really the burner plates are just larger in the front and allows for more intense heat). The stove comes with a flat grill (for things like pancakes) that you can tuck away when not in use. The oven part is fast, efficient and has a styling window for viewing. I'm overall pleased with the product and it's performance!

We shopped and shopped and came across this stove, what caught my attention was the price, my wife liked the way it looked. I just needed a stove to cook with im a guy I don't need nothing fancy, but this stove satisfied both my wife and my needs. The stove looks great, it has 5 pilots. The oven is pretty nice, The only thing i wished it came with is 2 shelves for the oven, ours only came with 1 shelf.

Bought this range as an open box item for a small starter home. It has a nice, sleek look, 5 burners, and a 2 piece grill. Looks easy to clean. Simple controls. Seems to work well.

Best bang for the buck. The oven is an ungraded version of the oven we have had for twenty years. This oven fit in the space even better than the original. The controls are easy to use and having the fifth burner is nice.
