My carbon monoxide detector alerted me that this oven was emitting dangerous levels of carbon monoxide a serious safety hazard. The gas company confirmed the issue, yet Whirlpool has offered no real help, even canceling my service appointment just minutes before it was scheduled. Extremely disappointing response to a potentially life-threatening problem.

The cooktop seems fine , however, the oven gets extremely hot very quickly . I recently had to broil something and the entire control panel got so hot I burned my hand . It only comes with 2 shelves - thought i wouldn’t miss the 3rd one that my old oven had but I do.

Installation technician was knowledgeable and efficient - did a great job. Stove works very well, oven preheats quickly. However, is my first gas stove (after electric for 40 years) and am surprised that a lot of oven heat radiates into the kitchen. The full top grill is a big plus - pots can be moved to one side off of burner without spilling.

Size your range BTU's to the Fan Exhaust so your fire alarm isn't going off constantly
