The black cooking area stains with any liquid spilled. As far as performance is concerned the oven works great, the burners are very easy to clean and the 2-piece grill.

For a stainless steel model, however, there should be more stainless and less black overall.

GRID WHEN CLEANING LEAVES EVERYTHING AND CANNOT GET IT OFF. TRYING TO GET THROUGH WITH WHIRLPOOL CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A HORROR.. G&G APPLIANCE WAS HERE TO SEE THE PROBLEM..RECOMEND I PURCHASE SOMETHING THAT WOULD HELP THE SITUATION.. ALSO MISSING THE RACK FOR THE BOILER.. HAVE NOT HEARD BACK ANYTHING ON THIS..?? All has been working well so far. Did not encounter functional issues after installation. This range had the right clearance for my existing gas line that protrudes from the wall. So it fit just right.

Only problem that happen was came with one oven rack and no griddle for the top. That took the longest to get cause I had to make a call everyday
