Flames came up through the top of the stove. They died out quickly. Apparently electricity arced and burned out some components. Now, i am afraid it is ruined and needs to be replaced.

It was never used as we were remodeling the house. When we moved it, it didnt work. Total Tech would not come to our remote area to service the range. Local appliance repair diagnosed the control board to the oven was blown, and the repair would cost me $670.00 - almost the cost of the stove. Dont buy whirlpool if you dont have a certified Whirlpool repair person to come to the home.
