Excellent replacement stove! Easy to clean and the oven heats quickly!

The range is only two months old; but, when I noticed a defect in its manufacturing I contacted Whirlpool. The problem was the bottom drawer. Although it slid back and forth with no problem, the drawer was a a half-inch to a three-quarters of an inch too short on the right side; hence, it didn't flush with the range like the top range door. When I scheduled an appointment, the repairman via phone warned me that if Whirlpool deemed it cosmetic I would be charged for the service and nothing would be done to correct or replace the drawer. Needless to say, I cancelled the appointment and informed Whirlpool of my cancellation. When I they asked me why and I told them, they didn't deny it. So, basically the Whirlpool warranty covers only operational defects. If you should buy one that was not put together correctly or has a drawer that's not flush with the range, you're left in a leaky boat in the middle of the ocean without a paddle. I look forward to the day when I can switch to another brand that takes pride in covering their products for manufacturing defects. Soon, if you blink, Whirlpool will only be offering a 30-Day (I can see Whirlpool drooling at this pitch) warranty for all their products with the caveat being: Only if bought on Leap Year with the year being an odd number.

I give 3 stars for this because the glass top got ruined the first time i ever cooked on I havent been able to get it off since! Also every cooktop you cannot set past 7 because it will burn your food and if you want to walk away and let it simmer it has to be on low low low or it will burn it! I regret buying it all bc of the glass top that i thought would look prettier than the normal but it doesnt bc its always dirty from cooking on it. Boiling water over alone leaves a mark!

We've had this range for 10 days now and none of us (3 adults) are loving it. It replaced a Maytag that essentially looks identical. When we push the buttons to turn on the oven, the entire range moves. When you have the timer on and the oven is on, you can't see both settings - you only see the oven temp and can't see the timer countdown (unless there is a display setting we haven't figured out yet). Frozen pizzas take about 4 extra minutes - surprising, since they are usually spot on, so am unsure that the oven temp is accurate. We'll keep giving it a try & call for repair if it doesn't resolve.

I bought this as an upgrade for a new home purchase. It works wonderfully and has many options. It also looks great. It does make a slight chirping noise when the oven is on, but I think that must be normal as I've seen other reviews with that comment.

Heats up fast, is easy to clean and has all the features I wanted. The self cleaning works great and the drawer is spacious. Heats up to 550 degrees, which is what I want for certain things. Very happy with this purchase

I love the black sleek design of the stove. The glass top needs improvement because it ruins bottoms of pans and marks the stove top very easy with smudges. You can’t keep it clean enough

I love this range. Almost identical to my last one. Can only give it 4 stars because of the solid black glass top. Always looks dirty. Smudges, streaks, dust even the cleaner does no good. My last one had a multi color blue / black range top. Never had a problem with it. But that is the only thing I do not like. Seems to have even temp when cooking / baking. It has a keep warm burner, don't think mine works or else temp so low I can't it's on. But not something I use anyways.

Had an Amana for 20 years hoping this lasts as long. Doesn't seem to cook at true oven temperature learning to adapt. Overall great for the price and roomy.

Haven't used all the features yet but it heats up faster than our old range & is a lot easier to clean after frying food in a skillet.

I am so happy with my new stove! It's easy to operate, heats up quickly and cooks evenly. Would recommend this stove to others,

Exactly az advertised, great value for the price point easy instal and great features its a steal for the price.

We previously had a Whirlpool range for 17 years and decided to upgrade since we're remodeling our kitchen. So far we are loving the updated stove my only complaint is I really wish you didn't have to hit for the oven light to come on . I really miss how the old range when you open the oven door the light would automatically come on.

Great flat top stove, easy clean up, and looks good

I've own Whirlpool before and had no problems. Quality was real good. It was a higher end range but this one is OK for the money. The grommet around the oven is held by flimsy clips and not very thick. Disappointed as it wasn't even clipped in correctly. Delivery man popped it in. Had an issue with "chirping" in the oven. Called for tech service. The tech said it was the flexing of the heating element. Not much he could do. I wasn't going to live with this forever. If you have an issue with chirping, try this. I folded two pieces of foil into squares big enough to fit on the feet on the heat element. It doesn't have to be real thick. So far... fingers crossed, it has not chirped. P.S. The pot drawer is small too.

I would give it five stars if the oven light was door operated as well as by switch. Also the glass top is not as easy to clean as the last range I had. Overall though seems fine. Delivery was without any drama which is all I ask.
