But Under the drum. This is my second washer. The first lasted about 3 years but retained water and smelled like a sewer. What the whirlpool is going on with these products!!! Thank goodness for warranties!!!

Poorly made washing machine

It gets off balance easily and I never leave it to run unattended. It has no end of cycle alert and lacks options for water level. I would not recommend it.

This is the worst washer I've ever had. My clothes are in knots when I take them out after the wash cycle. It smells musty and now at just over a year old it doesn't agitate. There is no way to adjust the water so I feel like my clothes don't feel clean. And let's not talk about a cycle taking 2 hours. Just a horrible product and I'm stuck with it.

Dont buy!

Nice when it works! Warranty service a hoax

I called whirlpool and the scheduled repair in 4 days. Not bad., until the actual repair outfit called and said they could not come out for 2 weeks! So having purchased geek squad protection I called them.. only to be told their protection starts after the manufacturers carpentry expires! I feel bamboozled by both whirlpool, who only has I authorized repair outfit on Honolulu, and Best Buy. I have been able to tell the service folks exactly which small part is broken, but they report they will have to order it and schedule another visit for the actual fix… which will be probably take at least 2 more weeks!

Whirlpool is now Cheap and Disposable.

Whirlpool quality is no longer there. I bought this washer with 0 expectation since the last one lasted 18 months. So far whirlpool has failed me on 2 refrigerators, 2 washers and a microwave. I bought this one expecting it to die in 18 months. If you have low expectations, buy this one.
