Smart & Clean Very easy to use . The clear lid is a nice feature. The tub is very deep, A smaller person may have trouble reaching the bottom to retrieve items . So far so good.

Bought this washer and dryer combo about 6 months ago. The washer is a little louder than what I would like, but I love the removable agitator feature. I dislike having to select to use fabric softener for every single load. The dryer is fantastic. Relatively quiet, drys fast and easy controls. Pretty pleased with my purchase and absolutely love the matte black.

Noisy. Where you put your detergent feels cheap. BUT it works and cleans my clothes. I had a quieter washer which was more expensive and it only lasted about 6 years so why buy expensive. The people who installed it from Best Buy were great.

I have had this for 3 weeks and it’s been doing great. I did have to get used to the different noises it makes. I always use the medium or high water levels to ensure enough water is used. I like the clear lid to see what’s happening inside. So far, I’m not disappointed. I had my previous whirlpool washer 23 years, so it was a bit scary searching for a new one. The clothes come out clean, and the spin cycle pulls a lot of water out of the clothes.

Bought this machine in June, and it does not work already. Whirlpool will have it fixed, but no one in or around will do warranty work for whirlpool because they can not ever get paid. The lid lock apparently is the problem, but it does not spin. Literally have had it less than 6 months.

Works great! A little shaky but does the job whirlpool the best!

Washes well. Deep fill option is nice. It does seem to be much louder while in wash mode. Spin mode is smooth.

This washer is a piece of crap. It makes so much noise. It looks like the whole drum is spinning. Sounds like a hammer an airplane flying the entire time. I cannot even watch TV piece of crap.

When unboxing it had a dent in the side of washer. Plus a deep scratch. Otherwise I love the washer

This washer only lasted me 2 years exactly, it stopped draining. When I called whirlpool they were helpless. I would never buy a whirlpool product or recommend it to anybody. Very disappointed that all these new washers and appliances are made not to last anymore.

Store associate was awesome, delivery was supurb, great price, solid washer.so far so good.

Machine is 1-2 inches smaller than the measurements suggest. Now it is smaller than our dryer due to this.

We purchased a Cabrio washer 8040DW in August 2018. We had a major drum bearing repair under warranty within the first year. Six years later, we need a new water valve and drum bearing, but we no longer have a warranty. The cost of these two repairs $1050 exceeds the cost of a new washer.
