I then had to scrub for a hour and am re running. The old style self clean WORKED! This situation awful, so mad, just 1 turkey spillover and it's like the old days, SELF SCRUB

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extremely disappointed with the Whirlpool "Smart" electric range and Whirlpool app. The oven, light, and timer operate only manually instead of through the app. Whirlpool Connectivity Customer Service is poor and unsatisfactory in addressing the issue even with multiple phone contacts since delivery. Customer Service agent cannot provide me with a tentative date of resolution of the issue. I paid for technology which isn't functional at this time. It appears that Whirlpool marketed the product before it was operational for their customers. I definitely would not reccomend purchasing the Whirlpool range with the remote enable.

We are not quite to 3 years of owning it and it has already stopped heating up as normal. It took 1.5 hours to preheat to 450 recently. Last evening, it never got to 350...Convection or Bake mode.

Control board and oven quit working after the 2 year warranty. Replacement control board is unjustifiably close to half the cost of a new appliance. Happy to send to the junkyard.

Don't waste your money!!

The dials are not linear, meaning you sometime move a small amount and get a lot of change, then move it a lot and small change. The oven temp is never right. Spent $375 for a new heating element and it's never right. The self cleaning is a joke. We have to manually clean it every time.
