BestBuy installed a new Whirlpool range today, did not test it, and left, and It does not work (Dead Controls). They also and took my old range for recycle. I just started the return process, and it may take over a week. Not a happy family and we did not expect to be without a range for so long over the holiday. After the install they should have tested the new range and if did not work left my old one. Disappointed with Whirlpool for the initial out of the box defect. More disappointed with the install by not testing leaving us without a range.

The front handle broke really fast. One of the heaters stip working like 6 months after buying it.

replacement range was dented so didn't accept it. driver seemed annoyed. another replacement is coming....Nov 16! It is Sept 18 today.

This range has a lot of features that I was looking for but the quality is definitely lacking. I owned Samsung before and there is no comparison. The top scuffed just moving the fry pan from one burner to another within the first few days of using it. Disappointing.

Basically, it does what a range/oven should do. Both ovens distribute the heat evenly. The larger oven has a convection option which is nice. The user manual is a little obtuse since it only has general information, not specific to the features and knobs on this unit, but most things can be figured out.

Used the cooktop, fine. First time we tried the oven, smoke started coming out of the side along with a horrible, toxic smell! Instructions say "Odors and smoke are normal when the oven is used the first few times..." They also say in the paragraph over, "Important: Exposure to the fumes may result in death to certain birds!!!!!!!" We shut it off immediately and our house still reeks 3 hours later after fans running with windows open. Do not buy this range, especially if you have breathing issues, which we do! Can't believe any company would put out a product with that type of issue or warning. Got it out of the house, returning it immediately and contacting the manufacturer.

This double oven works great for holiday cooking as well as the quick frozen pizza or lasagna dinners

Do not buy this. It is the 2nd Whirlpool appliance I purchased that started to rust. I have only used the suggested cleaning products. I bought a dishwasher microwave refrigerator and oven approximately 3 to 4 years ago. The dishwasher panel started to rust after about a year and I just had to re-order the front panel for $192 the microwave and refrigerator have no rust so I believe that shows you that it has nothing to do with the cleaning products. 1200+ dollars is a lot of money to pay to have the item rust after a year of use.

Awful, the top oven burns the simplest of items (Pizza, nuggets@ 400) and the top multi- size burners burn things at low temps. To top it off if anything boils over the sauce pans it is permanent- your top glass is scotched! And if you use the timer, you have to cancel the oven temp and reset (which needs to rewarm back to the temp)- you can't just add more time- Don't waste your money on this, not worth it

This oven has broken three times in one and a half years. Best Buy and the manufacturer did not give me a solution, even though we claimed the guarantee twice last year. They sell terrible quality products and do not provide solutions to their customers. I give a Cero rating to the product and both companies, Best Buy and Whirlpool.

I don't like the flat top pans slid around and I don't like my oven on the floor.

The first time I used the self cleaning in my year and a half old stove the enamel cracked. I had bought the extended warranty. The stove was replaced under warranty. The new one has 2 holes in the enamel at the back of the oven (probably from the racks). I have not even used the ovens yet. Back to Best Buy I go again...

Built very poorly! The adjustable plastic legs on the bottom of stove bent the thin metal that holds them in place when sliding into position. Also, there is no area in the back to accommodate for the plug. Had to cut a hole in the wall to make it work.

Hard to clean up no word to talk hard to clean up surface

I love the product, but getting it was a nightmare. Conflicting appointments, told it was back ordered twice, planned for delivery 3 different times. Customer service was not easy to work with.

This stove worked great for the first 11 months that we had it. We have been trying to get it fixed with the Best Buy warranty for the last 3 weeks unsuccessfully.

If i was buying this range in 2000 I would have give it 5 star probably but it is very out dated old technology. Nothing to feel good about it . very cheaply made expensive range. We bought it because LG wasn't available. By the time we wanted to return it date was passed.
