    I bought the stove because I like the idea of having the two ovens. The stove is just OK if I had to do it again I might’ve tried to get a more upgraded one than the one I got. But I do like the two ovens. The three stars are for the stove. My review, however, is the Best Buy warranty that I purchased. I purchased a five-year warranty I would never purchase a warranty again from Best Buy. In the past many years ago when you purchased a warranty from Best Buy, they serviced everything on your appliance you didn’t have to pay anything more. I just called the Geek Squad to get service on the stove and was told that I would have to pay $124.99 just to have the technician to come out even though I’m under warranty. Save your money people don’t expect Best Buy to do what you paid for.

    I am so happy I bought this stove! After researching double ovens and reading many reviews I settled on buying thIs whirlpool double oven. I absolutely love it!! Besides being able to bake two separate foods at the same time (yesterday I made a meatloaf and baked cookies at the same time) it bakes so evenly. From cakes, cookies, meatloaf, pizzas - all baked evenly and turned out great. Stove top works great too - very easy to manage the temperature. I can’t say enough good things about this stove. Highly recommend!

    lower oven door hits the floor when you open it

    Great oven, except for the lower oven door hits the floor when you open it. Sadly, it's the largest of the two and the one you use the most. Otherwise love it for making pizzas etc or the holidays.

    Installed 1-Nov-2011. Due to convection electical connection, range sticks out further than expected. It's OK. Range top function is excellent. Controls take time to figure out - not as intuitive as could be. Convection fan makes more noise than expected and runs a bit even when not on convection mode. Take and bake pizza, family size, fits in oven but burns the back really, really bad. Entire pizza is bad. Tried a couple of different things. It's not up against the back, so don't understand why it burns (in main, lower oven). Cleaning for first time today. Can't see how 16 oz distilled water would fit in bottom of main oven per steam clean directions. Since a few things have burned in top and bottom ovens, we are not happy with this oven. Can't seem to get it to work well with convection off, which most recipes are written for. Have not found any advantage to convection. Would not buy that feature if had to do it over again.

    No owners user manual included with purchase

    I was disappointed that there was no owners manual or operating instructions included with this expensive major appliance. Still in the dark trying to use this oven. I'm sure there are features I'll never know about. Bad marketing and customer service decision from Whirlpool.

    Not like the Good Ole Days

    Thank goodness Best Buy allows returns! This range was purchased to replace a Maytag Gemini double oven from 1999. Biggest issue: Preheating time is 11-12 minutes for both ovens. My previous model was 2 minutes for the smaller oven- that's why you use the small oven! Second issue is arrangement of burners with two large in front two small in back. Appartently all ceramic tops are doing this. Installation issues: Cord was over 4 feet long, so the unit was an inch away from the back wall because there is nowhere for all that cord to go. Because of the "L" shape of my kitchen, I was not able to open a drawer because it collided with the top oven handle. I tried to push it back as far as I could, but no go. I went to try out the appliance, and could not get the burners or the oven to work. The display panel was on, but no heat. I was in TEARS pulling out the unit to unplug it when a burner popped on. Apparently, the installer did not plug the unit in all the way, so it worked after I did that. If I had bought this from Home Depot I would be out of luck because they do not allow returns. I think that is unfair because they don't advertise the preheat times and you can't try the unit out before purchase. I'm buying a new unit with one oven and old fashioned coils. I won't be happy, but at least I'll be unhappy for $1000 less.

    Quality Lacking

    Very disappointed in this oven. Range is only 4 years old, doesn't hold heat and I've had to replace 1 door because it was falling off and now a handle has broken off the bottom door. The heat isn't a common loss of 10-15 degrees but rather 40-50. I have to reset the temp and have it pre-heat twice to maintain some sort of semblance to what's required for whatever's in there.

    Whirlpool liner problem

    We have had this oven for about two years. Similar to another post our ceramic lining is coming off in the upper oven. IT IS STUNNING and WASTEFULL that Whirlpool apparently does not sell that part thus the entire product needs to be replaced. Fortunately we have a warranty. Other than the obvious fact that Whirlpool should provide parts for their products, we have never been real happy with this oven. We have to shorten (more common) or lengthen the cooking times. Overcooked or undercooked is common. For the simple fact that WP will not sell the replacement part I would not buy WP products again.

    Piece of Something.....

    We must have gotten a lemon because ours is a piece of you know what. The bottom oven takes forever to preheat and burns/undercooks everything if you use 2 or more racks, even if you use standard preheat mode. The top oven burns everything. If you try to change the temperature, it won't change. It just won't. It will just say "preheating" for 30+. I'm writing this review after burning dinner for the umpteenth time. The range temperatures are all over the place. No consistency at all. The technicians are useless and we've spent more trying to get this oven fixed than what we paid for it. I HATE THIS OVEN. Had this product for a 2 years, and all the problems started happening after a year -right after the warranty conveniently ran out. Never f-ing buying Whirlpool appliances again.

    Poor quality plastic parts

    I was initially very pleased with this unit, which we purchased in November 2020. However, the plastic handle on the top oven broke when we tried to move the oven away from the wall.

    WARNING DOES NOT FIT FLUSH AGAINST OUTLETS

    Self explanatory and redundant from the other negative reviews: there is a plate where the recess should be which prevents being anything close to flush against the wall. To each their own, but I couldn't imagine paying an electrician to move the outlet vs. returning the thing for another, better designed one. I chose the latter.

    Multi Burner Stoped Working

    Had stove just over a year... front left multi burner completelystopped working.. will not turn on at any setting. For a $1500 stove I would expect more! Of course it is just after the 1 year warranty expired! Where do I get the parts to fix this???

    Terrible HOOK UP

    Great oven but there is NO ROOM FOR THE CHORD in the back! Had to pay somebody to install it and cut holes in my wall etc to get it to go back against the wall.
