I'm madly in love with my new dryer! I love the capacity of the drum as it's so much bigger than my last dryer. This dryer doesn't scauld clothes like my last dryer did. It also has very easy to use settings. I highly recommend this dryer!

I bought this item because it was on sale and my unit died. I needed something fast and dependable. The old unit lasted less than 10 years before the timing control unit died. The cost to repair was around $250. I figured I could get a new unit (newer technology) for another $100 or so more. I need a dryer without all the fancy bells and whistles around the $250 - $350 price range. There were some that fit the bill but I would have had to pay for the $50 delivery. I ended up going with this until at $450 because I felt that I would get a better deal for the technology and features as well as the free delivery. At first, I used the Energy Preferred setting with Medium heat to dry my clothes. Some came out still damp or wet. The load was medium. I tried the High heat setting and it was dry. However, I didn't want to use that setting as some of the clothes will shrink. It took some trial and error for the right load and settings, but not the majority of the clothes come out dry on the first cycle. The lint trap is large enough so that I don't have to keep cleaning it out after a couple of loads, The wrinkle feature is good for those that will take of it, but I find it annoying. If you will utilize the features and it is in your price range, then this is a good unit. Otherwise, go with a lower end unit which will do the job of drying your clothes and nothing else. I would have been fine with a $250 dryer that drys and lasts for at least 10-15 years.

I purchased my washer and dryer at the store and received excellent customer service. I had to exchange the dryer because I found out that the new house I purchased was set up for gas, and what I initially purchased was an electric. Additionally, the manager had given me the additional sale discount which occurred after my purchase. The price was awesome for a basic washer and dryer that are functional and simple to use. The washer is amazingly quiet, and so is the dryer with minimal shaking since the laundry room is located on the second floor. Very happy with my purchase so far, but I will have to see how it holds out in another year or so. We do a few loads a week, but Whirlpool is a reliable brand. I would recommend getting these products. Again, great customer service from Best Buy!

i appreciate the 7.0 cu capacity. Good for large loads

This is a basic dryer. It was replacing my old Maytag. I love the sensor dry. Seldom use time dry. Dries quickly on all temps. The only reason for giving 4 stars, no light. A light would be helpful. And the buzzer is too loud.

Love it, just wish it had an interior light. Otherwise pretty neat.
