Excellent no frills dryer

Basic Electric Dryer

Just wanted it to do basic dryer functions with no frills and it does exactly what I need it to do: dry my laundry.

Good basic dryer

Watch for installation specs

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The purchase of the Whirlpool Dryer went smoothly in the store, and we were to get free installation. However, on delivery day, the techs said they could not install it because we had the wrong amp circuit. Our old Whirlpool dryer was hooked up for 17 years, so we had no reason to assume the new Whirlpool dryer used a different amp circuit. So much for free installation! We had to get an electrician out for switch the circuit, before we then could install the dryer. So, if you are replacing an old dryer, please identify what amp circuits you have so you do not have the same issue. Once hooked up, the dryer works just fine!
