Great unit with simple buttons. Nothing complicated about this. It drys clothes as it should with minimal choices -- we like the fact that you can select the heat setting and there is a wrinkle release mode. Went for a pretty basic unit, because really, it just has to get things dry with out shrinking them. If you have anything that might shrink, the medium heat setting works great.

Quiet dryer. Dries clothes good. Different settings allows more choices for different materials.

This dryer replaces one that was 35 years old. It still worked but the paint was chipping off of the door and drum and it had never had a preventative maintenance performed so it was time. The new dryer is a match for my new HE top-loading washer. After the wash it only takes about 10 - 20 minutes at the most to dry a load. Just amazing and I have five temperature settings. Works great.

We didn't have enough money to buy an elite washer and dryer, so we had to choose wisely. We looked at multiple stores, and Best Buy actually had competitive prices. This dryer had modern features at a low-end cost, so we picked it. I'm glad we did, it works great. It dries the clothes fast enough without shrinking them.

This product is simple to use and efficient. It is also very quiet. Sometimes I forget that it's running since I can't hear it. Overall, definitely a great purchase.

Quiet running and easy to set drying times. Like the fewer cycles choices.

I wanted a simple dryer without all the fancy features. This machine does the job. It senses when the load is dry, cools down, then goes into wrinkle guard mode (if set.) Also has an air setting and timed setting and end of cycle signal. It dries loads quickly. The lint filter is on the top of the machine- it is large and catches lots of lint. Good job Whirlpool!

Drys quicker and has a nice light and has a large capacity

I’m really pleased with this dryer. It’s very quiet, and I can hardly hear it even when the laundry room door is open. It has an adequate number of settings, but not so many that it feels like you’re trying to launch a rocket into space. I’m also overly enthusiastic about the door opening from the top. Not only does it remind me of the days before planned obsolescence, but it makes it easy to pull the laundry out onto the door & quickly fold/hang right on the spot. If you want a dryer that literally does what it’s supposed to without paying an arm & a leg to have more bells & whistles to malfunction, this dryer is for you.

I was a little skeptical when I bought this dryer...reviews were mixed; some good, some not so good. I have had excellent results with this dryer. It dries clothes fast and works like it is advertised. The AccuDry sensor works great and dries clothes thoroughly before turning off the dryer. The wrinkle guard works perfectly also.

I absolutely LOVE my new Whirlpool dryer!!! My son bought this dryer for me this past summer because my old dryer just stopped drying. It had gotten so bad that I couldn't run it at all & had to put three fans in my laundry room to act as my dryer. I had to hang ALL of our clothes - socks, underwear, etc out of the washing machine on clothes racks & makeshift clothes lines in the laundry room. I then had to position each fan to the best speed & make sure they were setup to reach all of the wet large loads of laundry for three people plus linens & everything else. Unbeknownst to me - my 18yr old son saved up money from his summer job & surprised me by telling me that he was buying me a new dryer! I'm on disability & have a fixed income.It's barely enough to cover basic living costs & necessary household bills. We did some online research and found that the Whirlpool had just everything we needed, and Best Buy was the store that had the best price, ratings & customer service. I love my Whirlpool dryer! It has so many features that I must have plus some!!! My absolute favorite thing is the energy preferred cycle!. No matter which of the 13 settings and 5 heat cycles - from extra delicate to heavy duty - the specific needs of the garments, towels, blankets, etc, drys everything completely & with the special energy saving setting, it doesn't take long at all to thoroughly dry everything!!! And it is so much more quiet!!! Every dryer I've ever had, no matter the brand or price - have taken at least twice as long to dry & many times, no matter what setting or type of material - were still not completely dry & had to be run again! It increased my electric bill & caused so much frustration & stress, especially when you need everything dry to get dressed and be somewhere on time! My new Whirlpool dryer is so much efficient! I can select one of the many settings & heat levels necessary for the type of material. I always set it to the Preferred Energy Saving dry cycle & have always had everything come out perfectly!!! I have never had to run it a second time for anything!!! It works so well that it truly does perform as the above description states: "Every load is evenly dried with the AccuDry sensor drying system that measures moisture and temperature levels to avoid overdrying your clothes. 13 cycles and 5 temperature options offer versatility for a wide variety of fabrics." The Wrinkle Guard option keeps your clothes wrinkle free if you forget to take out the load when it's done (as I often do!) and not worry about everything being wrinkled when you are able to get to it! Here is another description from Whirlpool about this dryer that is spot on! "Help prevent damage caused by overdrying and spend less time in the laundry room with the Whirlpool® 7.0 cu. ft. high-efficiency electric dryer. Can't go wrong for price/big dryer inside/ many options

The dryer arrived on time with 2 great delivery guys who were in and out super fast. The machine was connected and runs like a dream. My old machine was 15 years old, so this whirlpool dryer is such an improvement. Loved working with the Best Buy team. I'm a very happy customer!
