    Purchased this Whirlpool Gas Dryer for my son and daughter-in-law's new home. Whirlpool is one of the few brands in which the dryer door opens DOWN, not from the side. My dryer opens from the side and inevitable, I drop wet clothes on the floor or the dry ones coming out. I didn't want the kids going through such needless frustration. The side opening must have been a "man" redesign. A woman would have NEVER made such a stupid change.

    This dryer is a good basic dryer. I think it may be a bit overpriced considering it doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but other wise I'm satisfied so far

    Dryer gas work good but cons lint mint touch clothes and blanket. Have to remove dark lint. Have to use sticky to get lint off or pick lint it off.

    I have only bought Whirlpool washers and dryers because I must have a drop down door to put laundry as I fold them. This dryer is quiet but doesn't seem to dry as quickly as my older Ultimate Care dryer.

    This dryer was been great. I like the door that folds down so clothes don't fall on the floor when loading or unloading. Also I like using gas as it is more economically friendly.
