    I purchased this dryer for my sister as a birthday gift. At the time, she is quite sick with breast cancer and going through treatment. Her dryer broke and she was living without for about a month. She absolutely loves this dryer as it senses when the clothes are dry and shuts off, saving gas. Funny thing, yesterday yesterday my drawer stopped working, so today I went out and bought the same machine.

    I think it is pretty hard to mess up the design and function of a clothes dryer, but Whirlpool made an attempt. The sloped top is a STUPID idea that will result in spilled detergent, bleach and fabric softener. The fact that the dryness levels are not user location adjustable make this feature almost useless. Here in Houston with its high relative humidity levels the dryer will not ever shut-off when the "More Dry" setting is selected. If the dryer is used at night even "Less Dry" continues to run for hours on load of a couple towels. The best thing I can say about this dryer is that it is much quieter that the Whirlpool machine that it replaced.
