Much quieter than the previous Samsung dryer I owned. Some bulky items like towels have a tendency to take longer to dry. Extra features are a nice addition. Haven’t tried the app yet.

Bought this for my wife and she loves it. It has some great features. We are big fans of whirlpool washers and dryers so buying this one did not disappoint. It works great and has not given us any issues. It’s nice to just set it up and let it do it’s job. Once it’s done it let’s you know.

I had always purchased Whirlpool cabrio washer and dryers before. They work. No issues. The reviews were always 4.8-4.9. I couldn't get those anymore so I opted for this new model which resembled the cabrio with more bells and whistles. I am replacing an old whirlpool dryer that was probably 20 years old. It worked, but I had replaced the washer and was worried due to covid everything was going out of stock and I wouldn't have a matching set Start with the bad, end with the good: The bad- The dryer was apparently sitting for a while and the software was old, everytime I tried to update it, would error out. Then I had to call and after a week with no call or email back from Whirlpool I noticed it was turning on and trying to update on its own. Then one day it was updated. So I guess they were working on it and not communicating with me. I got an email about a week after it updated that it was complete. The smart features are wonky, kind of buggy, the app is always weird and clunky. I find I no longer use it, the only feature I liked was the "Your clothes are dry" push message. The washer stays connected to the wifi but I frequently have to reconnect the dryer. The color- I was excited, its my favorite color. But anything gets on it water marks, oxyclean, any bleach dribble, shows up 10x a white one. Constantly windexing it like a window. Surface scratches very easily. The good- You can press all sorts of buttons and get it to actually do a great job albeit longer than the old model by 20 minutes. The quick mode leaves clothes damp. It frequently reverts to energy saving maximum and things are still wet, so have to check your settings. Here comes the big amazing plus: I have energy monitors on all my appliances. this unit uses far less power than the old one. I have no idea how they are accomplishing this. That is where this unit shines. It uses no power. The old one would suck down power like no other. In conclusion im pretty happy. I have decided I do not want any smart appliances due to the multitude of reviews across brands and models that say appliance manufacturers shouldn't write software. Stick to making quality appliances that will last as long as the one I just replaced

Works great, but doesn't seem to completely dry clothes on first attempt. I have messed with the settings multiple times.

Like not having agitator. Takes larger load, is quite. Replaced 10 year old Whirlpool washer.

Does a nice job of drying the clothes. The model is sleek, stylish, and not too big which I like. Many dryers and washing machines are too bulking and ugly looking. Only flaw is that the door is kind of difficult to open and close, but I think it supposed to be that way. Also, the buttons are very sensitive and almost touch screen.

This is a great dryer. Love the innovation behind it and the notifications via Wifi. My only concern is that I wish the dryer will keep drying in auto. Unless it’s on timer setting, the clothing will stay damp.

Nice appearance easy to operate . But takes to cycles to fully dry most loads

The whirlpool cycle smart capable gas dryer is definitely a good replacement model upgrade I’m happy I made this decision. The heavy weights towels, blankets, all seemed to dry in a reasonable amount of time wrinkle free and extremely softer. I will tell share with others the whirlpool smart gas dryer easy to set controls and get the perfect results for drying laundry.

This is the best appliance I ever bought get you one load the clothes and you can start ur dyer from where ever you are even on the road. You not home kids are and they don’t know how to work it you can do it for them from ur mobile device.

Please don’t buy this brand and unit. I purchased both dryer and washer a few months ago in 2021 towards the end of September. I installed the unit in the beginning of October. I started noticing my gas bill went up extremely high. I was paying more than $100 more a month, so I contacted my gas company to see if there was a leakage or something going on, but no everything was okay on their end. They said that my usage went up since the beginning of October, that is when I installed my gas dryer. I contacted Whirlpool customer service to see if they can help me and NOPE they said that there was nothing they could do to help me, they didn’t even try they have really bad customer service. Now I’m stuck paying $100 more a month on my bill. My gas company keeps sending me letters that I’m using to much gas and I don’t know what to do. Please don’t let this happen to you. Purchase a different brand this one is not good and the dryer takes a long time drying clothes maybe that why it uses more gas. This is an honest review.
