worst product ever purchased. very poor customer service The total price i paid for this unit is $875.00 and when i called for service they said buy the new one.

So far, so great! We've only had it a couple of weeks. But, MAN, does it cool awesomely! We didn't think we'd be able to find a suitable replacement for the super old, through-the-wall AC we had (it was so old and ugly, but it cooled amazingly). But, so far, it seems like we have. And, it seems as though this new unit surpasses the old one with its cooling power. A huge plus is that it supplies heating, too. We've yet to test that out. But, when it gets cold, I'll be sure to update this review. Again, however, so far, so great!

We were in a rush to replace a broken through-wall unit and thought a 14,000 BTU replacement would be fine - especially for $800 price. Unfortunately, the unit is LOUD to point where we can't hear the TV and it doesn't really cool our cathedral family room like our old unit did. STEER CLEAR of this if you have a large room to cool/heat.
