First load we were getting error messages. It wasn’t getting enough water. Called to return it

Not that impressed already had to get them replaced. They washer was turning off in the middle of the cycle. Hoping the new one works better.

this washer has been nothing but a hassle since the day I got it. It cleaned the first 3 loads fine, the second weekend I had it, it wouldnt do the final spin, so all of my clothes were soaked, then it would start the wash cycle all over again. Find something else.

Had to have original machine picked up after first day because was making loud grinding noise. Apparently geek squad install for got to pull some pin and it cause damage when running. Delivered second machine and it's very noisy. Installers scratched up walls and trim in brand new house because they would take out dryer they installed earlier to put new washer into place. Less than satisfied.

The machine works great but it is very loud. I was expecting a much quieter machine as it was advertised that way

Washer and dryer look very nice and work well. However, if you don't like noise....you will not like these.

I was very excited about this washer and it's features. Unfortunately I think we have a lemon. We cannot wash more than 2 pair of jeans or it will not spin and drain. We are trying everything to make sure that there are no user errors, but I am honestly ready to return it and try something else.

This washer causes my wife to use bad words. If she is not ultra careful when loading, the machine shuts down and leaves the clothes wet. We tried to have it serviced and the tech said the bearings and rods were fine, but he got the same complaint from others. We are finally going to sell this unit at loss and buy something else. It is our mistake for not turning this back in the first month we had it. My wife is far too forgiving and hates conflict so she waited too long and now we just can't stand it any longer. I wish I had gotten involved sooner. When I finally called Whirlpool they said they never have an issue and we could call another repair service ( staring price $98 min). Time to cut our losses. All I can say is that if you have problems, call right away. Now its time for me to lay out bucks for something else-

This unit works well for most laundry activities, but I have had problems with the Heavy load cycle. In the Heavy Load cycle the fill & rinse action become continuous, with water running on until manually turned off. This wastes water and in our case drains our well until empty. We have call the company and had a service man here 3 times, but he hasn’t been able to fix the problem. We now don’t use this cycle unless we are here to monitor it and manually control. The unit also leaked from the intake valve soon after it was purchased, this was repaired and corrected.

I was in disbelief, based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews for this washer, at the poor results we're getting from this washer. In short, it's leaving detergent residue on clothing, requiring rewashing very often. We've tried adjusting the amount and using the pods, to no avail. This is apparently a common problem, not just with this particular model, but many (if not all) HE washers. I will also note that the 3rd-party company that Best Buy used to deliver the washer was absolutely terrible and left deep scratches on 13 ceramic tiles in our laundry room. Over a month since delivery and I've got nothing but the run-around and anyone doing anything about it. Based on this experience, we would NOT buy an appliance from Best Buy again.

The motor melted to my drain pan the first day because the motor is too low inside the washer. Received a replacement. Had the legs put up all the way. Machine is very noisy. It's also harder on the clothes with no agitator. Would not recommend this washing machine.

This washer didn't clean my cloths well. It leaves lints. I have a child who was sick and was vomiting here and there, this machine didn't do it's job. The laundry came out smelling just like my child's vomit and I had to wash it 3 more times. It's a trashy machine.

I've waited a few weeks to write this review and if I had written this review the first day I used this machine I would have given it one star and returned it considering it nothing more than a poor effort on Whirlpools part. Then, after reading the directions THOROUGHLY and learning that what I consider a mixed load Whirlpool considers bulky, I have had some amazing results with far less water. If you follow the directions on loading clothing; detergent type and amounts; liquid conditioner type and amounts; and the proper use of Oxi and other additives you have only reached 1/2 of the learning curve necessary to properly use this washer. This is a great machine and with the deep water setting I was able to get a king size comforter clean with little effort. Also, with the steam feature and a little oxi white revive my whites are dazzling (including our white socks), smell great and now I don't have to use bleach. Additionally, if you choose, it can spin your clothing really fast greatly reducing drying time. It's really quiet, the only time I hear this washer from the next room is when it fills, activates the pump to drain and chimes. Also, the chime feature can be made louder or softer depending on your preferences. The only difference between this machine and the top of the line Whirlpool is the mobile app., 1/2 square foot capacity, active spray, and color choices. So basically this is a high end white machine that can't be hacked. This is not your mothers top loading machine. Even though it is top loading it is an HE machine in everyway and has to be used as such. When it comes to detergent and especially fabric softener less is more. It has more flexibility than the front loader it has replaced and with the deep water option blankets, comforters, winter coats and other bulky items are cleaner and better rinsed.

These new washers use very little water and it shows. Need to add extra rinse cycles to get black clothes rinsed so that you don't see white smudges. Even using a tablespoon of detergent and deep water cycle does not help.

Clothes don’t seem to get wet enough unless deep water option. Maybe lack of agitator is a bad thing. Wish clothes came out cleaner...

I was excited to purchase a new washer and dryer set when we moved into our new house. We got it delivered and after 1 week, it started making this loud grinding noise. We waited over an hour to schedule a repair visit after getting hung up numerous times, had to miss work to get it looked out to find out it's not fixable. We now have a new set arriving, not the whirlpool so cross fingers it lasts more than a week. Don't buy. If you read reviews, you'll see there are consistent problems with the cabrio. You are better off with a top loader old school model.
