IT DOES NOT CLEAN YOUR CLOTHS! It leaves residue and detergent on things almost every single time I wash a load of clothes. Furthermore, there are times when clothes will come out of the washer with huge dry patches on them, which means they never got wet therefore never got cleaned. I can't stress enough how disappointment I am with this machine. :( I bought it because it was Made in the USA and Whirlpool used to be a good brand.

This washer does not clean clothes

However, I soon discovered that it just does not clean clothes. I do not blame Whirlpool, it is a common problem of all top-load HE machines without central agitator. I wished I read THOSE reviews first. I returned it to store (thanks Best Buy!) and bought a cheap Amana.

All hype, no performance

Clothes go in washer dirty and come out dirty. All items in load never get submerged in water. Something is wrong here, please Recall and scrap these washers, this is the second one I have tried this past month "Low water use" AND GET CLOTHES CLEAN using this model is a farce/non existent. Just like some reviews stated...take out your clothes and you literally see dry spots. Really. How does this happen. I guess it is good for one person who doesn't get anything pretty dirty or soiled. I sent it back and is trying a GE agitating washer.

When items in the wash aren't even getting wet, then the water conservation aspect of this product makes it useless. You have to select bulky items in deep water if you only want to wash socks. Not a good buy..

It’s great for the first 12-15 months

It doesn’t always drain, doesn’t acknowledge the buttons you press or even turn on. We have it for 2 years 3 months. Ours permanently sits 3 feet from the wall because we have to unplugged it to reset the circuit board every other time we use it-and a new circuit board is $300.

Washing machine was returned, didn't work

We purchased a hose ourselves and after installation the machine did not work. It was picked up and replaced with an other machine. I spent $25. on a Whirlpool hose and was told I would not be reimbursed for the hose. Not good business practice.

I had them pick it up and we had to buy the next model down (without steam) and it was the same price as the original steam model would have been out of the box. I noticed my clothes was coming out just the way it looked when going in-dirty-only smelling like fabric softener. It has stained a lot of my clothes. Luckily I purchased an extended warranty.
