After doing my homework and readings up on different washers I decided to purchase this one and I couldn't be happier. I needed something that would fit my small laundry room yet big enough to wash a decent sized load at a reasonable price. As of now I haven't had any issues, needles to say no bad experiences as of yet. I bought the matching gas dryer as well and was able to stack them up. My advise would be to have them deliver and install them. Just MAKE SURE you check your measurements AND add 5" of clearance for the hoses and vents.

I tried a Whirlpool HE top loader and it was a disaster. It wasn't cleaning my clothes, kept getting off balance with blankets and the electronics were wigging out after barely 2 years. The repair guy said he could fix it - for $400 - but he recommended buying a Whirlpool Duet front loader instead. I am SO glad I took his advice. It is super quiet, easy to set the controls, the electronic tones are pleasant, the cycles are not too long, I love the sanitizing mode so I don't have to keep my water heater turned up too high. It cleans very well, handles blankets, pillows and even small loads perfectly. Sometimes you don't realize how bad another washer is until you get a new one. I immediately rewashed all my clothes and towels. I've never tried the steam cycle - seems like a gimmick to me. Tip: build/buy a base.

It is a smart choice when I bought the Whirlpool Duet 4.3 cu. ft. at Best Buy. After using it for two months, I am very satisfied with it: new technologies with many selections but simple to use, saving water and electricity, clothes are clean, and drained well, not noisy. With delicate option, I don't have to hand-wash; I can do small load or quick wash... It saves me time. Compared to my old Maytag with an agitator, this one is so wonderful. It's good to buy a pair washer and dryer so you can see how efficient of the product. With a pedestal for each, you don't have to bend down to get clothing from the washer to the dryer. When I bought mine, Best Buy has the bonus buy one pedestal, get the second free. Thank you Best Buy for carrying good products and for good customer services.

My old whirlpool duet pooped out on me with the f11 code. The purchase experience was great! I called in advance after doing some online shopping and Best Buy price matched the lowest one I found. This machine is so quiet compared to the other and so easy to use with all the digital buttons. But what I love most about it is the larger capacity! Washes my Cal king comforter no problem! One tip- when you're done with a load, always leave door open to prevent mold. I was never told this with my last front loading machine.

This washing machine does it all; big loads, steam if you want it and it adjusts cycle times internally. When you pic your settings the machine displays the cycle time. My wash has always been done quicker than that time without sacrificing cleanliness.

I have been using this washer for several weeks now and can say I am very satisfied with its features and its overall performance. My last units were 10 year old Whirlpool Duets and even though I never had a problem with them I passed them along to my daughter and decided to upgrade. I am glad I did. There are some nice features on this unit and the sensors really do a nice job sensing the water level and timing of each load.

The only two negatives are 1) powdered detergent clumps in the receptacle when cold wash is used, 2) due to the larger capacity than our old washer loading and unloading the washer requires deeper knee bends. I like how I first pick the basic wash I want, and then I can alter things like water temperature to exactly what I want. I like the time to wash display, which then counts down the minutes until the wash is done. I like the chimes rather than a buzzer when the wash is done. The washer is quiet enough that we can listen to the TV in the next room while it runs. If someone had trouble picking things up that are low they might want a pedestal for this washer. I have not tried the steam feature yet.

So far this is a really great purchase. Machines have gone through about 20-30 loads and are working like a dream. They are quiet and efficient. The clothes feels notably different, cleaner and less battered. If you're considering LG or Samsung, don't rule out the Whirlpool. Unlike the other two, the Whirlpool does what it's supposed to do and very well. It doesn't need wifi or candy apple red or a fake 10 year warranty badge. It cleans and dries perfectly.

I've had my washer a little over a month and am very pleased with the performance. I had a front loader before and never encountered the mildew odor I've heard others complain about. This machine is quiet, thoroughly cleans the clothes and spins them practically dry!

We replaced an older model because of our high electricity bill caused by increased drying time. Drying a large load would take at least 70 - 90 minutes if not more. This High Efficiency washer spins so much more water out of the clothes that now on average the same size load takes same old dryer 40-50 minutes.

I replaced a dryer that overdryed to the point of getting skin burns from zippers and everything was overloaded with static cling. This dries perfectly, always stops at the right time, and the wrinkle reducing tumbling action really works. I took several wrinkled tshirts from the drawer, put them in and they almost looked ironed. And not one sock has "clung" to another item in the dryer.

I would give it 5 stars if the spin cycle wasn't quite so loud. Huge washer, we can easily fit queen size comforter and sheets. Overall we are satisfied with this washer.

I did research for several weeks before deciding on this brand and model and I have not been disappointed in my decision. It's quiet and efficient. The preset settings are perfect but adjusting them to the specific need of the load is super easy. I love the steam function which was the whole reason I purchased this model...it's been a huge benefit.

My previous washer was a Duet, so I was aware of how well it works. I love the quiet spin and how well it removes the water from the clothes thereby reducing the drying time. I only wish you could choose the start and stop sounds it makes.

This Whirlpool-Duet 4.3 Cu. Ft. 10 cycle High Efficiency Steam Front-loading washer has a bigger drum then my last one, a touch "ON" and a touch "START" button and it gets our clothes really clean! The price was pretty good also!
