Good washer. Less vibration than our previous washer

water saving but wonder how it gets laundry clean with such little water. I use extra rinse to help remove detergent but it cleans the clothes. Pre-treat stains before laundering. I bit noisier than my older front load.

Washer every time I use it theor is water that stays inside the part where the soap goes.

The washer is very loud. Not sure if I got a lemon or if it just loud. I called Best Buy and they are going to send someone out to look at it. Not happy at all. Had less than a month.

Washer will not dispense hot water in except when it is on "whites" setting, even though hot water is selected . Does not ever steam that we have found. I don't like it at all and am calling Best Buy to see what we can do about it. The slightest thing causes the machine to shut off - sprayed room freshener and the washer shut off.

Spin cycles with very loud noise. The machine was defective and returned.

It was delivered broken. I have yet to be refunded a month later

I've had my washer two months and am very happy with my purchase. I bought the washer on sale and got a great deal. The biggest headache was the delivery time. It took 2 weeks to get my washer. Since the reason I bought a new one was because my old one died this was a big inconvenience. This washer uses much less water than my old top load yet it still seems to get my clothes perfectly clean. It handles my comforters with ease. I also like that I can run small loads and it senses this and uses less water. Seems like a great environmental benefit. I leave the door ajar after running a load to let everything dry and prevent any mildew from forming. Thus I've had no problems with odor developing. I did go ahead and purchase the 5 year protection plan as I'm Leary of appliances with lots of electronic components lasting very long. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.

I am happy with my purchase. I had been searching for a new front load washer with steam. My wash already looks brighter and I don't get any smell inside (I do leave the door open for a few hours after washing). Also, the noise is not bad.

We purchased a Whirlpool Duet front load washer and dryer set in September 2013 from Best Buy after much research and consideration. Two weeks ago the washing machine overflowed and flooded our laundry room and garage after working fine. We tried to turn it off at the control panel but the water kept pouring out of the soap receptacle flooding our home! We had to pull the power plug to stop the water! The washing machine was full with dirty water (and half load of clothes) and the door was locked closed and too heavy to move away from the wall to clean up the water damage/growing mold on/in the floor and wall behind it. We called two technicians, including a Whirlpool Factory Service technician and we're told that we have a "lemon" washing machine and need to replace the pressure pump, door switch, water pump, motor and mother computer board! We called Whirlpool and explained the situation but they would not pay for the labor because the one year warranty is over! Whirlpool does not stand by it's name! We have our entire family visiting from the east coadt and the soonest the Whirlpool Factory Service technician could get all the parts and repair it -- after three trips -- was two weeks! Now, we feel violated because no reasonable person would expect a meltdown of this magnitude to occur inside of two years! Never will by Whirlpool again! Beware!

This is a very nice efficient front load washer. Clothes come out fresh and clean. I am especially glad that it is American made.
