||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For whatever reason the Whirlpool filter I purchased tasted terrible like chemicals and plastics. I was able to square it away with Whirlpool. I do suspect that the filter was stored in a high heat area.

If it is only supposed to last 6 months then it lasted the exact amount. When I first purchased the refrigerator the filter seemed to last a lot longer.

I canceled this plan in July since I moved and I no longer own this fridge. However, the product was sent to my old address and the credit card was charged. I called to get my money back, but I was told I need to bring the filter to the store in order to get the refund. Obviously I don't have it since it was send to my old address. I explain my situation, but I was ignored and I lost my money. I am very dissapointed with the customer service and they lost a client.
