I recently purchased a new refrigerator that had an airflow filter compartment but didn't include a filter. I was able to add this to my fridge. It's working great. These filters are more convenient than adding baking soda to the fridge to manage odors.

These filters are not more expensive than the others but works twice as hard. Lasts longer than the off brand. It fits our 5 drawer kitchen aid refrigerator. Extra fresh you can smell.

I have a new KitchenAid refrigerator that started having a sour smell. It was only a couple of months old so was surprised the filter already needed changing. However, as soon as I changed the filter the odor went away. Very frustrating that these filters have to be ordered on line and the store does not carry them. However, I received them quickly, so no real problem.

Didn't think that these did much but decided to try and see if I bought a new one after having my fridge for 6 months (which is when the instruction manual says to replace it). The smell of my fridge has greatly improved. I could notice slight odors before but since changing it they disappeared within 2 hours.

I only use the Whirlpool Fresh Flow Refrigerator Air Filter. It is easy to install and has an indicator that alerts you that it is time to replace. The alert message also appears on the outside front door of my Whirlpool refrigerator ... and of course I purchase it from Best Buy.
