    I have a Kitchen-aid ice maker and this is the filter that I needed to use. The filter works great but at $50 it should last for more than 6 weeks. I went through two filters that both lasted only 6 weeks each. I hired a plumber to test our water and he said it looked good and there is no reason it should be clogging the filter so fast. I ended up just installing a whole home water filter so I no longer need to use these. It would get expensive fast.
