I got my new fridge and i purchased it to have a ice maker and i love it. I had a ice maker in old fridge which i had for 17 years and it had stopped working so i was making ice the old fashion way with water in a ice tray. So needless to say I am happy to have a ice maker again

Purchased the ice maker for our new Whirlpool refrigerator. Was installed by the delivery company. The ice maker is making ice and it doesn't taste funny. Nice clear and pure ice in the storage bin ready to use when needed

I don't know why an ice maker is not a standard feature in a refrigerator.

Ice maker was easy to install and does a great job making ice cubes.

Easy to install, makes a decent amount of ice, but it is much noisier than the one that was in my previous refrigerator when it is filling up.

The optional icemaker works well and keeps us well stocked with a supply of ice. It's a little loud when filling with water, but only for a few seconds, and only noticeable if you are nearby, so it's not really that big of an issue.

This thing blows away the ice maker in my old fridge which I also just replaced. Best Buy had to go to Whirlpool to get me the right one after recommending and delivering the wrong one with fridge. Worth the wait though. Once it filled, I haven't been able to get ahead of it.

It's working well, making lots of great ice. Easy to install.

Great to have ice cubes always on hand. I haven't had this problem with previous ice makers but this one sends the cubes out with such velocity that I'm always having to pick the cubes off the lower shelf of the freezer.

This ice maker was easy to install and works just as expected. It did take a couple of hours for the ice maker to start working. I was worried when the water didn't enter it immediately, but a couple of hours later, the water filled the chamber and the ice started forming.

I wanted to buy a better model with a factory installed ice cube maker instead of a kit, but had a height restriction so I had to buy a refrigerator that did not come with this feature. This kit works fine, but is a little noisy.

I ordered this with my fridge and the delivery guy installed it in minutes. I was wondering if it was going to work because he said he's never installed one before. He said it was really easy and that I could have done it myself. My last ice maker stopped working a few years ago and it's soooo nice to have ice again!

Out of stock when I bought the refrigerator. Sales lady went out of her way to find one for us. Above and beyond the call of duty. Oh yes, it makes good ice. A little loud when the ice falls in, but freezer has not been re-stocked to absorb the sound.

Makes good ice fairly quickly just louder than I expected and a few fall behind the bucket all the time other wise glad we got it!!

As the name implies, this is a very easy install. The most difficult part has nothing to do with the ice maker and that is routing a water line to the fridge. Hopefully you’re lucky enough to have one nearby! Works great once up and running, no complaints!

Works well. Purchased for our mother to go into a new refrigerator she bought. Due to COVID she wasn't able to get a machine without an icemaker. Bananas!. Found this one through Best Buy and installed. Works well.

The ice maker was easy to install and was done with 10-15 minutes. The only issue I have it takes a long time to make ice or fill up the bin.

I was surprised that my new refrigerator doesn’t included the ice marker and need to purchase it separately. Anyway, the installation went smoothly and the unit works as expected
