    I always use the frig water for drinking, but when I've simply used tap water I can tell a difference. The filtered water tastes great and the filter lasts a reasonably long time (4-5 months) prior to needing replacement.

    The Frig tells me when my filter is going bad (as well as the quality of the water) and that this is the filter I should use. So, I purchase this one and put it in. The filter is pretty easy to install.

    This Whirlpool water filter #4396508 is for my Kitchen Aid Refrigerator. It keeps the water cleaner and specially it filters out the odor. I replace this water filter annually.

    Good filter ,it last 6 months, you can "pour" water direct from your refrigerator. I use it for years. Have no issue at all.
