I moved into a new house, my space is limited in my laundry room..i had the brilliant idea to buy washer and dryers that could stack and give me extra room... these worked out great! The installers came, put it together....it's stable, sturdy, and not too high whereas I can reach the dryer. and I have the extra room I need... WIN! WIN! WIN! on all accounts.

The old dryer was an older, but virtually identical model to the one purchased in style, but the vent kit and stacking kit were required to be purchased with the new dryer. I guess it is understandable since the installers need the items to do their job, even if the old one works, so the purchase makes callbacks unnecessary.

Part of the installation items necessary. Since you asked, it would be nice to know everything would be included when you buy an appliance to know the true full price.

There are a lot of reviews which throw shade on this stacking set. If you carefully follow the instructions, you won't have any issue and it is quite sturdy. I was able to complete the setup myself with just my girlfriend to help steadying it while I tightened everything down. Don't waste your money paying the installers to do the stacking!

My first thoughts on this were that there should be more to the kit to stack a dryer on top of a washer but they assured me this was all I needed. The install guys put it all together and it has been working fine for the last month. The dryer does not move around and it looks great being stacked. If you need the space or just like the look this kit work as it should.

What can I say? These work. They were required for installation of my new dryer.

Stacking worked well in the laundry room for this, affording us valuable extra space. The most challenging was the technical crew that first could not come because product shipping was delayed then because of a scheduling hiccup with their schedules. Now it is done and was worth the effort.

This kit is required to stack the washer and dryer. It is mostly out of sight and seems to keep the units stable even when load is unbalanced. It does make the dryer control panel high enough to make it difficult to be seen by an average height woman.

For some reason this wasn't included in the purchase when my company purchased this washer/dryer set, but this addition made setup and installation a snap. Note: was super helpful to have the exact item number I needed, as the store employees weren't sure on their own what to recommend to me based on my model number

The connectors for stacking were not with the delivery. We added them, no problem and mounted the dryer on the washer

...the threaded holes on the back of the dryer were not properly threaded on the right-hand side so I could only get the screws in half way. The legs are nylon fiber but they didn't screw in easily either.

Nice easy to install came on time and all parts look really strong

This is a good idea to stack the appliances to save some space.

This hardware securely connects the washer on the bottom to the dryer on the top. It feels very safe and I would definitely recommend to anyone who is stacking their units to save space.
