I do not use it myself. I bought it for my husband. He loves it! It's small size is convenient for carrying it with him.

Well built and has many options for a good cost. Haven't picked up many transmissions locally, could be lack of range or possibly incorrect frequencies programmed in. All in all would be better for a urban environment

It's good but hard to program it . I can get Chicago but not local police....

So far so good! Just wish there was more action to listen to.
