Awesome product, incredible improvements over the 4.0. Don’t get hung up on people complaining about the company, Whoop has already changed their upgrade policy to honor long-term members.

Good available to track the health and fitness benefits

I really like it but I return it because I needed to use my watch also… if this whoop had just the time it would be perfect for me

I was previously using the Whoop 4.0 and still had 8 months left on my subscription. However, Whoop required me to either pay for a hardware upgrade or commit to another 12-month renewal. I ended up getting the 5.0 just to extend my membership, but it quickly became clear that the upgrade wasn’t worth it. They even made small design changes that forced customers to buy new bands instead of reusing old ones. The improved battery life is nice, but most of the new software features are also rolling out to the 4.0. Even the new age estimation feature worked as soon as I linked the 5.0, which shows that the 4.0’s metrics were already capable enough. The real issue is the subscription model—it’s expensive, and customers shouldn’t have to pay again just to upgrade hardware or extend a membership. In the end, I returned the Whoop 5.0 and cancelled my renewal. It’s just not worth the cost, especially when alternatives are becoming available. With an Apple Watch or a smart ring plus a $30–$50 yearly app subscription, you can get very similar analytics without the hefty ongoing fees.

Looks the tracker works fine, a lot of daily information. The 12 month membership is definitly a plus

Still the best non-screen fitness life tracker. You are paying for the algorithm they use and it’s still better than the ring offerings. Tried those as well.

Accurate, easy to use, good accuracy when compared to oura

A month in and enjoying the WHOOP so far. Low touch and not distracting. I primarily lift weights for exercise and tracking features there are good.

Awesome product with amazing features but recommendations

The subscription service is kind of a rip off and the peripherals are expensive as well. I do not like wearing this with my Apple watch, it seemed like too much so I went with Athlytic app instead. All based on preferences, the product itself is a quality product.
