I liked it but the window I have is smaller so it did not fit so I had a return it back and get another one. There was smaller for my window I had.

Received a defective unit. I was excited for all the benefits on paper, the app and remote capabilities, the energy efficiency, the cooling capabilities. However, it was not meant to be. Out of the box it had ELOC error. This meant warranty return since the compressor was obstructed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

It was a much better than a previous lg product. The extra power helped a lot! Its 100 degrees outside and i need my heavy blanket.
