I do recommend the home owners to have one for any instant use.

Wanted to go with a portable unit because of ease putting it in and out of windows. We use this is a summer home that only requires AC a few days each summer. It is in a 250 SQ ft living room attached to a 150 SQ ft kitchen. This weekend with the temp reaching 90 degrees outside it couldn’t keep up. Brought the temp down to 78 and by late afternoon was creeping up to 82. It seems to put out a fair amount of cold air but doesn’t cover the advertised sq footage.
