Great air conditioner! Cools down my 900 sq ft apartment easy

The hoses could be designed better so that they are further apart but beside that this is pretty nice.

First off there was some confusion about the delivery. No tracking information was provided but eventually the product did arrive. I am using this AC to cool an area of about 400 sq ft. It is a 14,000 BTU unit rated to cool up to 500 sq ft. I have to say it does not operate like a window unit. It takes a long time to cool down the area. I had to set the temperature at 64 degrees to make the room comfortable. Once it runs for several hours the room is cool and comfortable, but not quite as cool as a window unit would be. Only If you have no way of putting in a wall or window unit I would recommend this product.

Cools down room real fast. Love the remote. This is the second one I bought. I purchased the first one from Home Depot. Had to get another one for the bedroom. Also for me it helped with my electric bill.

We have this unit for four years and it is one of the best A/C 's we ever had. You don't have to put it in the window and worry about it if you go away. Just open the window and put in the hose.

blows cold air quietly and was easy to set up. i would definitely recommend to others.

Love this unit!...it cools my 2 bedroom apartment perfectly! I am soooooo happy I purchased this. Shipping was fast, set up was simple, there is minimal noise (lower noise than what I was expecting) summer will be comfortable now. I wish I'd purchases this last year!

purchased whynter portable ac unit to cool specific rooms in the house instead of turning on the house ac and wasting electricity .

We are using this to cool an area of about 600sqft and the fact that it has dedicated intake and exhaust vents helps prevent the usual low pressure issue that many portable A/C units suffer from. It is also much quieter than running a box fan.

I found this air conditioner to adequately cool my medium size apartment living room.

Cools better than any portable, while working quieter than any. The only con is the unsightly double window intake/I take tubes, but better that then deal with humidity bucket.

The air conditioner works great but getting the hoses connected was difficult the instructions were not clear I had to have someone come and get it all connected

On a 90 degree day kept room at 68 degrees pro Con rather heavy for delivery

These are great air conditioners. Got several of them for my tenants during the heat wave. All of them said they made a big difference in keeping the rooms cool.

Work great but the hoses are huge and the machine is pretty big too but easy to put together and operate

It cools very well. Best purchase we have made on one of these. High quality brand. Very pleased with our product

Works good quiet only thing wish it came with a actual window seal

This is my 2nd unit. My first one is still working great after 5 years. It works so good, I purchased one for my parents.
