It did work good , as far as portable ac’s go, still a 8,000 window ac will be the same strong as this 14,000 btu ac, also rated 9,500 on the side , don’t know why these have 2 ratings . You can’t adjust the air flow btw , and it shuts off when it wants too even though it’s not close to being 64 degrees . Witch is what I set it too. I’d get LG if I was you.

It is huge and has two 8" flexible hoses for intake and exhaust which are a nuisance and quite large. If you are looking to put it in a room where you expect it to be inconspicuous, forget it. Check measurements for where you are going to mount it before purchasing.
