Broken Light Button after 13 months of use

This hood looks really nice but the light button has already broken after only 13 months of use and now I have to pay $130 for them to come install a new button. I'm always very careful with being gentle with my appliances so this is unfortunate. Hopefully nothing else breaks soon.
