Lightweight, compact, and nice design. The sensor seems to pick certain scents better than others, such as hand sanitizers will give a positive for air contamination and the fan would turn to high setting if auto is on. However, if there is any smoke or other fumes, this might take a while for it to register. The fan seems powerful, and seems like the odor removal works as expected.

Incredibly helpful for asthma sufferers, The light changes color to red or orange when the air quality is poor. It's also very quiet and easy to use. I only wish it came with a replacement filter.

This unit may go back. I’ve had it just a few days. It doesn’t come on nearly as often as my Shark purifier. It also seems to go to sleep constantly. I called the company today. They said when the room is dark, the unit will go to sleep. This means it won’t turn itself to a higher setting if the air quality changes. The unit just went to sleep in a well- lit room. I wish there was a way to make it stay on.

Great purifier, easy to use and you feel the difference in the air. Just make sure you clean and replace the filters often. They pick up a lot of dust, germs, etc. Great buy.

It works very good filters out alot of dust just in the pre filter help me since i have asthma i bought one for my sister and mom and dad only buy when on sale at 150 the replacement filter are 47 that for hepa and charcoal filter don't use the cheap ones

We've been using this for a few weeks and it seems to reduce the amount of dust in the room. It's quiet and the automatic night dimming feature is nice! The fun part is that is senses when the air needs cleaning and the light turns red. No more secret farts in the room. This will detect it quickly and go to work for you!

I never realized how dirty the air was till I plugged this in. its really changed my breathing and lessened the allergies that I suffer from when it gets too dusty. it also removes the odor from cooking or the smoke from cooking. would recommend in every household.

this air purifier is AWESOME!!! Its super quiet you can barely tell its on. It has 2 washable filters which will cut on replacement costs and it has a remote. So much thinner and quieter than the Honeywell ones and less bulky. A must have

Wasn’t sure if this would work. Turned on and air quality was red. After a few hours, went from orange to blue. Noticeable difference in air and dust.

I did a lot of research on The Winix 5500-2 which seems to have good performance reviews all over the internet. It's a great value purifier especially since it contains an activated carbon filter with pelletized carbon within a honeycomb and mesh housing, and not the thin impregnated fabric, which has little absorption capacity and does little. The replacement filters aren’t too expensive when you consider the carbon and pre-screen filters are both washable and will extend the time between filter replacement. The power consumption is low

So far it seems to perform as advertised. My wife has experienced far fewer episodes of coughing since I put it our bed room. It's very quiet except when it detects particulates in the air, like after a shower, and increases the fan speed. Even then the only noise is from wind noise.

Amazingly quiet and the filter system is excellent. I love the Auto and the night mode. I've used this brand before and the old one is still in use. This new model is being used in a large bedroom and is so silent I never know if it is working....but it always is. Great Air Purifier.

better than Dyson's when it comes to price and performance, a great buy, my only complaint is the sensor, I have a better particle sensor that I use to measure the air condition and wasn't expecting much from the built-in sensor anyway but I feel is not even worth putting it there if its not accurate

We bought this for our office to give us some peace of mind when we have on site meetings. It is very easy to use and runs quiet.

I love this purifier. Winix has upgraded to the best. I have the winix p300 as well bought it 3 years ago, still great. Does the job. Thanks to the purifier I can sleep, breath, and be productive. I suffer from allergies, sinus etc.... I’ve had so many sinus infections until I met the purifier. I saw this one I couldn’t resisted -washable filter -energy star -grey and looks soooo classy. I just knew if it’s winix has to be great!

We use the WINIX - Tower360 Sq. Ft. Air Purifier in our living room. It runs quietly and and is efficient in removing dust, pet hair, and other particles in the air. We are pleased with this air purifier and would recommend it to anyone looking for one to buy.

I've had this air purifier for a few months now to use in my office for those cases when I need to be able to meet face-to-face with people for work and so far it seems to be doing what it's supposed to do. I appreciate the automatic sensor that indicates what the air quality is like and then changes the fan speed to the more appropriate setting. The sound of it also isn't too loud, which was a factor in my choosing to purchase this particular air filter.

This air purifier is very quiet and works really well. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats so my home is always full of fur. This takes care of it and I love that it adjusts throughout the day.

It works really great for our small living room. It definitely is sensitive to air quality changes. But cleans it quickly and effectively. Air quality has improved since we purchased this. And I love the cleanable filter layer. Highly recommended!
