Great so far! Walking into the room you can tell right away that the air feels cleaner and crisper (if that makes sense). Looking to get two more to take care of our living room/dining/kitchen open space area.

Love these purifiers. They sense when to run more to remove dust from the air. Quiet running.

We purchased different brand unit at another company. When it failed 25 days later they would not take it without box back even though I bought ext warranty. I originally wanted the newest Winix but it was not in stores. Well after above incident I went to Best Buy.com and ordered the 5500-2. It is rated as Best unit on Youtube video. And it certainly is. I have 2 family members with breathing issues. Now they sleep thru the night and wake up feeling great. Thank you Best Buy for stocking before everyone else.....

Easy to use. Works efficiently for cleaning the indoor air. Odors gone. You can smell the difference as to how clean the air is.

Runs quiet when you need it to. Looks slick. The air quality color marker helps to give an idea of the quality of the air. Very happy with the device.

This air purifier runs so quiet, you don't even know it's running. We bought two of these, one for each bedroom and then another larger Winix purifier for the larger part of our condo and we couldn't be more happy with them. This coming winter in Utah with our horrible inversions will be the true test but I have faith in these bad boys. Will definitely buy a Winix products again!

I have had this unit for a little less than a month and I have noticed I have been suffering less from a stuffy nose in the morning. It is fairly quiet unit except in turbo mode. The "Auto" mode will increase the power if the air quality worsens and decreases power as the air improves. When I use hair spray the unit charges up, so I know it works. I prefer to keep it on "Auto" mode, but it goes into sleep mode if the light is low. This is not always desirable, so I use the manual settings most of the time. In case you are concerned about ozone, it has an on/off button for its Plasmawave feature. I read the ozone it emits is very low, so not harmful. Even then I keep it off. No sure why it is needed, so better safe than sorry. Great price for the power to clean 360 sq ft.

quiet, you can't tell it's on , makes a big difference in air quality

Very quiet and efficient. My sinuses have been much clearer since I started this unit.

I bought the WINIX 5500-2 and the Honeywell HPA200 at the same time and tried them both. The Honeywell one didn't seem to be doing much. When I woke up in the morning my room still had that dank smell to it. You know, like a guy's dorm room smell. It didn't help my allergies much either. With the WINIX, that smell is gone. It smells fresh when I use this one, which tells me it's doing its job better. I also like that this one has the ionizer (they call it Plasmawave) which you can turn on or off. The WINIX also has a charcoal filter (which I think is what takes away the bad smells) and the Honeywell does not. Also, the Honeywell one smelled like toxic chemicals the first two days I ran it. The WINIX did not. (I had to run the Honeywell in the basement for two days before I could use it in my bedroom.) If you're looking for a nice air purifier I highly recommend this one.

My sister has severe allergies and other health issues. I got her this purifier for Christmas and had her open it as soon as she got it so she could start using it right away. She likes it and it seems to work well but she only used it a few weeks before heading out of town. It arrived on time and was easy to setup. Haven’t had any issues with it so far.

Have had several of these units running throughout my home now since August. I live in the desert and we are on a farm. There is a lot of dust, pollen and dirt. These units work very well and have cut down on the amount of dust I have in my home tremendously. I love them and when I finish building my studio I plan on getting a couple of more for in there.

I've had this for over 6 months now. I'm surprised how much small dust this captures. Works great. Quiet, easy to vacuum filters. I have 2 off them in my home. I got another for my elderly Mother-in-law who had trouble breathing before this. She didn't think it would help. Ha. The very next day she said she could breathe better. Now she tells everyone how much better she breathes.

Good for the price. Low noise and easy to clean the filter. Like the night mode, when it auto dim the display light and goes to low fan speed for less noise.

While it is a little bigger than I expected, it is quiet and I purchased two.

This is the best Air Purifier I have used yet. With sensor and multi layer filter, its good in cleaning the air.

Wow is all I can say. I noticed the air quality improve and those little odors here and there have pretty much disappeared. Plugged in and working immediately. I picked up 5 of them for our 2000 sqft 4/2 and the coverage was perfect for each bedroom and open living kitchen space. Would buy again and again and again. Dont pay retail and get on sale.

So far it does doing it’s job. It’s sleek design really matches my room. The function buttons are so easy to use. Looks like a great buy!
