It is uplifting to watch a movie with emotion, drama,love and excitement!

I enjoyed this film very much! I must start with the actors chosen for this film. Each one I have liked in other films and their mass of performances, and I was glad to see them in this film. It was the first time i watched a film w/ actress Jessica Brown Findlay and she did an excellent job with her role. The story is one that I truly enjoyed. It covered love, heartache of different kinds, gives hope and the magic is pure. The plot does have some storybook similarities but in a dignified way, I guess that appeals to me because I believe in the possibility of miracles. I liked the music in the film very much, it did help establish much of the feeling that the story was portraying. I am the type that always pays attention to film scores and soundtracks during a movie. The song at the end of the movie during the film credits was a perfect touch. I immediately bought it on Itunes it is called "Miracle" by KT Tunstall. I liked this film very much, is on my favorites list and very happy to have in my movie collection.

Just as great as I had remembered the movie, just wish that it could play on my DVD player. Can only see it one of them

This movie is a visually and emotionally rich timeless romantic story of good verses evil. It is meant to connect with the romantic optimistic viewer in all of us. I felt the power of love across time and the possibility of hidden miracles. The cast tells this story through their excellent performances! I found this to be one of Collin Farrell's best performances and really enjoyed Russell Crowe's powerful dark performance. Blue-ray disc and packaging are good quality, the picture and sound are clear, however the aspect ratio is formatted to widescreen TVs and is not presented in the original movie format. The disc includes some deleted scenes and 2 featurettes.

A movie that didn't quite make it in the theaters but it is well worth watching. Colin Farrell portrays a complex character and the story arc involves the concept of love and compassion juxtaposed across the centuries against the backdrop of "good versus evil". A surprising cameo appearance, I don't want to spoil that surprise. Russell Crowe does not disappoint and if you are expecting Jennifer Connelly to be the lead actress, you are being misled.

This movie has it all. I, honestly, have no clue why it has mixed reviews, - as you can "read" this movie on so many levels. If you a love story person - you going to love the movie. If you love sci-fi-fantasy - you will be pleased as well. If you seek secret meanings, symbolism, spiritual message- here they are. And its extremely well done and takes your breath away. Watch it! Enjoy it!

Colin Farrell played a completely different character from those he has played in the past. Russell Crowe, of course, played the bad guy, which suits him well. The movie has an interesting plot and ending that one would not expect. It’s magical with an underlying love story. I would recommend this for anyone to watch

You will know if this film is for you immediately after reading the synopsis. If this sort of story/hopeless romantic/love conquering through time and space film is you type of film (it is mine, but I know many would take issue with some rather big plot devices) you will enjoy it. The cinematography is luscious, and the sound design very fitting. Performances are no slouch either.

This is a great movie for everyone! At first glance I thought it would be a mushy romance movie, but there's actually some great action scenes in it too. The only thing that I didn't like about this movie was that they cast Will Smith as the Devil, I think they could have found someone that fit the part better.

I love this movie. Could not find the sound track on a CD so bought the movie. The music is beautiful and the story is interesting. I recommend this movie to everyone. I could just listen to the music all day without even watching the movie and be contented.

Just when you think you have all of the answers, you don't until the end. The horse was poetic justice that took me a moment to figure out. I don't want to spoil the horse's position, but if you know the Holy Bible, then you know the who the horse portrays.

I was very surprised at the direction this movie went in but really enjoyed it none the less. Very entertaining and kept me interested. Im not a big movie watcher so my husband talked me into watching this and I didn't regret it.

I have a huge soft spot for this movie. I will always have it in my collection.

Another beautiful love story with a romantic 1 liner that would melt a woman's heart. Has a little action in it too for the men...making it not a cheesy chick-flick. There was even a surprise actor that you don't see when watching the previews.

This is a little different type of film. It has a unique slant on the war between heaven and hell. In its own way it is very life affirming. There are a surprising number of big name cameo's in this film.

Never heard anything about this movie. Saw it on HBO several months ago. Great movie for a rainy day or you want to watch something off the beaten path. Yes it could fall in the line of a chick flick but a guy will watch it too.

This movie looked like a standard, if magical romance from the trailers. While there is romance involved, the story is really an epic tale about the nature of good and evil and the battle between them.

I was afraid after reading reviews that I would be disappointed with this movie, but I was not. I won't spoil the storyline, but a very lovely fairy tale, but sad/happy unexpected ending.

this was adapted from a book written by Mark Helprin. It was on the best selling for a long time. The movie cast was great and I think Colin Farrell gave a strong performance. He is a wonderful actor.

This was such a great movie. I loved that he was able to save the little girl. I would have liked more background info in the beginning as I didn't completely understand the demon part until later on.
