I really like this scale. I think that it provides a much more accurate picture of my health than my previous withings scale.

I have had Withings scale that measures different parameters in the past but I am excited to explore even the new features this new model has to offer. Health is Wealth, they say!!!!

I love the vascular age, compositional analysis, visceral fat index and regulat scale info I get.

Although I like Withings as a brand, the scale is pretty terrible. It does seem to handle weight in an accurate way, but everything else either doesn’t work reliably or is wildly in accurate for example it can detect my heart rate about 10% of the time further, it tells me that my body fat is about 10 points lower than the DEXA scan that I just received. I usually weigh myself first thing in the morning after using the bathroom the readings are very inconsistent. Overall, the scalp performs worse than those that cost a quarter of the price.

Very easy to get set up and to continue to use. Would highly recommend.

Quite simply, this is the best investment for our family's health we have made in years. The information provided is critical for everyone; and the software is easy as pie :). Unfortunately if you own anything produced after the first router ever created, this device will not work for you. A slight exaggeration, but it is using a 15 year old standard that even grandma Ethyl has probably since upgraded from since even basic equipment provided by internet service providers doesn't use the standard anymore. I've wasted hours changing advanced router settings to no avail. I already have a 2.4gHz only IoT network. I dropped the security level to just basic (unsecure) WPA. I turned off UPNP and 20/40 mHz comingling. I even went back and nuked 5Ghz on the main network. Their support page mentions you can only be on a b/g/n network. Nothing can get this piece of junk to work. So much cool health tech made completely unusable by the fact that if you aren't using a wireless N router, A STANDARD MADE IN 2009, then this device literally cannot be used. What a joke.

I’ve had a different withings scale for about a decade, was happy with this finally being released to the USA. It is listed as FSA/HRA/HSA Elligible but my FSA administrator is requiring a letter of medical necessity. Not sure if Best Buy could create a “with letter of medical neccesity” disclaimer, but IMO they should. Thought I’d throw a word of warning out for everyone rlse interested it via their medicial funds.

It’s a good product and does what it states. But the app needs some tuning. It confuses the people registered on the app and skews the results. Very time consuming to get the app working right all the time.

I just got this scale and I really like it. It helps me to monitor my progress with weight loss as well as a few health issues that I can work on.

I've had this scale since Dec 11th and it was great for about the first 6 months of use. Since the latest firmware update the body composition feature has basically stopped working for everyone in my household. What a joke. I paid $400 for a scale for it to arrive at my house and then not work. The battery does not charge. it is stuck at 0 percent. I tried everything. Literally 10 different sockets and charging bases. Nothing works.I then went to the Withings website to find that this is a common problem with these scales and that after a year when the warranty runs out the majority of the batteries stop working. I really wanted this scale and am so disappointed that it doesn't work.

This body scan scale is very impressive, it analyzes/measures six different body metrics. Setup is accomplished by downloading the Withings app on a mobile device and following the instructions to activate all the functions. Connect via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, powered by a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. The functions performed and metrics measured are weight, body composition (fat & muscle mass), electrodermal activity, heart rate, vascular age, and ECG. The ECG requires opting in and giving permission for it to be analyzed. Vascular age requires five daily readings for it to analyze before giving results. The app is very good, it's easy to understand and navigate, and encourages daily use. Daily use is the best way to get good measurements as it will average the readings and track results of daily measurements. Unfortunately, to get full access to all available reports, analysis, and a weekly health improvement score you have to subscribe to Withings+, for $9.95 a month or yearly for $99.50. More about this in my summation. I believe the accuracy of readings is pretty good as they are in line with other health apps I'm using. The ECG is especially useful as a graph is provided which can be downloaded and shared with your doctor. You can also connect to other health/activity apps and also share a complete health report. The body scan scale can also be shared with other family members. The initial user can send an invitation to others to download the app and use the scale. My wife and I are both using it. The app gives directions on how to switch users on the scale and it will display the current user's name so you know the results will be reported for the correct person. This body scan scale does what it claims, is easy to use and understand. It's excellent for tracking health parameters and progress. Too bad you have to pay extra to get all the benefits. They're already charging a very high price for this item, they ought to include full access to all reports and analysis. I guess if you can afford it, it's worth it.

Withings claims you experience a full health check up in 90 seconds, and I agree. First thing’s first lets make it clear that this scale is extremely accurate in measuring your weight. Set up was very easy and I just followed the step by step instructions in the Withings app. The scale connects to your WiFi network. Another useful feature is that the scale has a rechargeable battery and the connector is USB C. I have never had a scale smart or not, that provided segmental body composition. Any time I wanted body composition I had to use the calipers and figure it out that way. The other interesting aspect is the cardiovascular health feature. The Withings Body Scan uses an ECG, Vascular age, and standing heart rate to measure your cardiovascular health. Now let’s refer back to that 90 second full health check up. I whopping 30 of those 90 seconds are solely for the ECG! All of the data points are transmitted to your phone through the Withings app. I have an iPhone and granted Withings access to my health data. So when I log a run on my apple watch or iPhone, Withings pulls that health data into the Withings app and takes the activity into consideration. When I launch the Withings app I know what my muscle to fat composition is for the various parts of my body, how my heart health is looking, and if I am trending upwards or downwards in the weight loss department. The heart tracking and segmental body composition is what sets this scale apart. Another item the scale tracks is your Electrodermal Activity (EDA) score which measures the and assesses the activity of the sweat glands in the soles of your feet. This score tells you your stress levels over time. This smart scale is the smartest one out on the market and is definitely for those that are serious into their health and are not afraid of having a scale give them the level of detail that the body scan scale is capable of.

The body composition feature worked once. After talking to Withings customer support for months they finally sent me a replacement. The replacement never worked for body composition. Other functions are good. If I had a redo I wouldn’t pay extra for that feature and just buy the cheaper model.
