The Tricky Terrain Commander deck from Modern Horizons 3 offers a unique land-focused strategy that's both challenging and rewarding. With Omo, Queen of Vesuva at the helm, the deck emphasizes land interactions and growth, providing a fresh gameplay experience. While it may have a steeper learning curve, the deck's synergy and potential make it a standout choice for players seeking something different.

It is super fun to play and not too terribly hard to learn for new players or rusty ones like me. Can be a bit OP at times so dont be surprised when you win. There are some really beautiful cards in this deck. I highly recommend

This isn’t a deck that you can just pick up and start playing and know what to do. In other words, it’s not very intuitive. For most decks you can read the commander and know what the deck wants to do. With Omo, that’s not the case. If I were to guess based off the commander, I’d assume it’s a deck that cares about creature types, like an “everything typal” deck (my friend Mike used to have a great deck built around Morophon, the Boundless that took advantage of creature type buffs). That’s definitely not what we got here. The creature types are far less important than the land types. In fact, the everything creature counters do almost nothing here. The best use of them is Avenger of Zendikar putting +1/+1 counters on all of your Plants (which will include any creature with an everything counter). Beyond that, I struggled to find a reason for them.

All of the cards were there in great condition. Also, I got great extra cards in the mini 2 card extra collector booster. Worth an additional $10.

    Such a sick preconceived

I’ve played a lot of precons over the years, but Tricky Terrain from Modern Horizons 3 is easily one of the best out of the box—and with just a few upgrades, it turns into an absolute MENACE at the table. The ramp is absurd, the threats are disgusting, and once you start dropping 10+ power creatures for free, your opponents basically just have to accept their fate. Out of the box, it’s already solid—ramping hard, dropping lands, and slamming big creatures at an insane rate. But with a few tweaks? This thing snowballs like crazy and just steamrolls games. The land synergies feel so smooth, and the deck gives you that perfect mix of big, dumb threats and tricky interactions that keep every game interesting. If you like playing huge creatures for free, drawing a ton of cards, and watching your opponents question their life choices, this deck is for you. Wizards really outdid themselves with this one—best precon I’ve played in YEARS.

Deck runs smooth out of the box, lots of staples if you choose to take it apart for other things. Pretty fun and good value for <$60

Great condition, exactly what I asked for! Got the alert that it was ready to be picked up the day of release! A bit more expensive than your local game store, but I was able to use Best Buy rewards points to bring the price down to zilch!

One of the best values of any precon. Many pieces can go into many decks and even out of the box it’s immensely fun.
