It's A good idea to get one the best of the NES games in one package

ABSOLUTE PIECE OF GARBAGE COMPANY, ORDERED THIS THREE TIMES AND EVERY TIME IT ARRIVED DAMAGED. DO NOT BUY, I REPEAT DO NOT BUY

Yes, Best Buy's warehouse executive/director/management/overlords team should put a process in place to prevent collectables such as these from being shipped without sufficient protection. It would also set them apart from the other rain forest and the red dot competitors, both whom care very little when it comes to packaging certain items. On to the game!!! It's Amazing, it's fun! I really like the gold cartridge and stand far more than I thought I would. This is a must for anyone into the old NES, or anyone into Nintendo collectables. the quality is quite good. I have the japanese version on order also - it apparently comes with bluetooth famicom controllers instead of the gold cartridge... excited!

Its fun. This is not the same as remix so dont expect that, this has more of a focus on competing against others on the online leader boards. There is a lot of fun to be had here with the classic games.

I was a child of the NES era, and I nearly wore out my NES. Regardless of anything we have today in video gaming, playing these games always takes me back. I bought the Deluxe Edition because I couldn't resist the extra items - they'll look great on my "Nintendo" shelf. I especially love the feeling of the golden cartridge in the sleeve. I even caught myself looking into the bottom of it and blowing on it to clear the dust lol! The game itself is fun to play. You play little "snippits" of classic NES games with some sort of objective necessary to get the best score possible. Sometimes the objective is not a goal you would have playing the actual game, but probably something we all did back then when we reached the point of beating the game with our eyes closed, just to impress our friends. It's funny how you will find yourself playing along these mini games and all prepared to go to the next stage or the next part of the screen, but it just ends because you completed the objective. I think the big miss here is that Nintendo should have included the full version of these games as part of the package, at least for the Deluxe Edition. Many if not all are probably available on Nintendo Switch Online, but it would have been a nice add-on. If for nothing else but the nostalgia, I highly recommend this game, and I it brings back the memories for you, go ahead and spring for the full Deluxe Edition. Then you too can blow inside the gold cartridge to get the dust out.

I really enjoyed this item. Playing all the classic games with the speed run elements was awesome and really tested skills. The physical version with all the goodies was really cool to add to my collection. I played for 10-15 hours and can see myself coming back to this occasionally as these games are pretty timeless.

Great compilation with lots of replayability every week with the week's challenges open to online participants. Give it some time to get used to the type of game, which isnt linear as many would expect. Peak nostalgia if you're a retro gamer. A+

I bought this mostly to play casually, but it is quite a lot more fun to play than I was anticipating. Unlike NEX Remix, this game doesn't mix up the games in any way, but the challenges offered give such an interestingly addictive life to these old games, that despite turning it on for casual play, I can sometimes get lost playing for hours, just to get a better score or time. I only played very little online, but from what I did experience, it's okay fun, but not too interesting.

People here giving 1 star reviews because their game came in damaged. Pretty sure that isnt Nintendo’s game’s fault. If anything, it was the person delivering the package or maybe Best Buy, but anyway, i got mine in prestine condition. I pre-ordered and picked it up IN STORE.

Been a fan of old-school gaming. Also watched the Nintendo World Championships over the years and it’s amazing to witness, but saddening to never participate. Now, we can participate the NWC in the comfort of our home. This game REALLY tests your skills and how you clear challenges as fast as possible. From Super Mario Bros., Kid Icarus, Metroid, and even The Legend of Zelda, these NES games have over 150+ challenges to clear. You have to be REALLY familiar with the games inside and out if you want to earn those S ranks. This is practically an entry-level game for speedrunning. Would recommend this game to anyone who remembers the NES, have been familiar with the championships, and speedrunning.

A fun throwback for fans of the original NES. featuring collectable items including a gold game cartridge and display stand, plus fo course the championship game for your switch. It is likely for diehards but fun for those who just want nostalgia as well

This Deluxe set for the Nintendo Switch has some amazing items that come with the game. You get some cards, pins, and an old collector NES replica cartridge. The game is amazing to play. You get to do parts of a variety of NES games, and you try to beat the fastest time and other challenges. It's something fun to play when reliving some parts of old classic games.

Awesome blast from the past! A must for every collector!

This game has been surprisingly fun! I grew up playing these games constantly and was a little afraid that I would tire of them quickly, but the challenges are so addictive that I've had a hard time putting it down! Also, the included collectibles, like the replica NES cartridge, the pins, and art cards, are a really nice touch! The cartridge looks identical to a real NES cart and even comes with a display stand. The pins are also incredibly nice. I'm glad I didn't pass this game up, it's a must-have for NES and retro fans.

The World Championships NES Deluxe Set Edition is a nostalgic dream. Classic games, original graphics, and timeless challenge. Amazing collection, brings back childhood memories. Must-have for NES fans and retro gamers like me!

Is super fun to compete against everybody in the world for the best times, I just wish the selection of games was wider, maybe they'll add more later. The extras that come with the deluxe version are great, specially the gold cartidrage, it looks amazing on my shelf.

This game is pretty fun and addicting. It's not that long so it's a great budget game. I love all the stuff included in the Deluxe Edition. Super high quality, and a great throwback to the NES era of gaming. I had a good experience picking this up from Best Buy.
