Charged it after we opened gifts then used it for about an hour straight breaking down all the boxes and it went strong the entire time. Tackled a 3ft tall pile of boxes with energy to spare. I now must have one...only problem is that it isn't on sale anymore

Nothing wrong with using scissors but this does the work for you. Doesn't matter whether you are cutting cardboard, cloth, plastic, etc.. this thing gets the job done. I would definitely recommend.
