Our building needed a snow blower this season and we knew we wanted to go with something that was battery operated, but also was compact enough to handle a gangway, a few parking spaces, around dumpsters and as well as a courtyard and stairs. I am very impressed with how quiet this snow shovel is and how it seemingly chews through fluffy and wet snow! This snow season in Chicago has brought some decent snowfalls. I can easily cover around 2000 square feet. I did buy 2 additional batteries and having those on hand is perfect for when I want to do an extra deep clean. I took half star off because I noticed the handle cracked, and I have only had this snow shovel since late November. I am taking the other half because I noticed the metal extension that folds up seems to have a lot of a play and can’t be tightened, almost like a floppy tent pole. I don’t know if Worx will replace these parts, I have yet to work with their customer service, but I am hopeful they’ll stand by their product

It took us a quater of the time to clear the snow. My 12 and 14 year olds were able to use it! Great price to save your back. We lucked out on promotional set of extra batteries. Hope it lasts for a few years!!

I’m so excited to have this snow shovel going into winter! Very easy to assemble and use, comes with two batteries and a charging dock, and is easy to store. This is the perfect tool for driveways, sidewalks, and decks.

Shoveling sidewalks and decks can be tough - but my husband still likes to be the one to take care of it. With a bad back and injured knee - I thought I'd give him something to make things a little easier! This snow thrower eliminates the need to lift and toss the snow. Easy handling, powerful, well-constructed machinery and the great WORX name. Highly recommend!

Amazing product. Cuts work in half. I cleared my walkway and large patio in no time.

Although I am unable to provide a review for this shovel in the snow because it’s too early in the year for it, I trust this product will be great. Worx is a brand with excellent quality products and warranty. This shovel is sturdy, cordless, comes with 2 batteries and a charger. Folds up for easy storage and the adjustable handle is useful. It is like a mix between a shovel and a snow blower.

Pros Powerful - 6 to 7 inches of powdery and /or slushy snow is no match. Directional chute works. Battery life - great. fast charge, 30 + mins of on and off cleaning, push button indicator for remaining juice. Pro battery, not regular ones. all great. Handle - not telescopic but group position is adjustable. fair. Cons Heavy. - Weight on both ends, makes pick up and repositioning cumbersome during snow cleaning. Ergonomics - The trigger location is such that a lot of weight is experienced on the trigger finger(s). trigger finger got tired in first few minutes and then it was a no-go for me. The weight distribution and location of trigger did not work for me. Returned quickly. FInal thoughts - wheels would have been a welcome addition.

This has made clearing snow off the drive/walks so much more easier/enjoyable. Battery life is wonderful. Purchased an extra pair of 4.0 amp batteries locally, so we really have no issue completing our areas. With 200' of sidewalk included, this helps.

My wife uses it several times this winter and she likes it alot. Though after a while the weight of 25 lbs. does get a little heavy. But overall she likes it alot.

This actually works wonderfully in the snow, much easier to use than my big snow blower very convenient to store and holds battery well

I bought this unit in November on sale. I've been itching to see if it's worth the money. Finally, after an overnight snow of a few inches, I can say it's...meh. Which is a shame because I love my other Worx tools. I will say that this cordless snow shovel does make snow removal easier because I don't feel winded or sore afterward. But, it didn't feel like it had enough power. The batteries were fully charged, but seemed like they were almost spent. It's advertised to throw snow 25 feet. but it looked more like 10. So I couldn't just throw snow forward without getting powder on the driveway. (And there wasn't any wind, if you're wondering.) Fortunately, the blades can be angled to either side with the knob. This worked better to keep the powder off what I had already cleared. The width of the electric shovel is a lot narrower than my manual shovel, of course. So I'm not sure if I really saved any time. But, since it's somewhat effortless (the unit is much heavier than a standard shovel) compared to pushing and scooping snow, it's hardly worth thinking about, I suppose. Since ever never used battery powered outdoor tools in the winter, I'm thinking that even though the batteries were fully charged, they may have still been too cold sitting in my garage. So, I've moved the charger inside in hopes that it makes a major difference in power. Otherwise, I think the Worx Nitro Snow Shovel works well and definitely saves my back from strain. But, given it's mediocre power performance it's first time out, I don't think it's worth full price. Just keep your batteries warm and hope for the best results.

It is very powerful and works like majic. And throws the snow far away . The battery life is long enough for a long driveway. Perfect soft snow. However, be careful not to jam on the handle as I just brake mine and looking for replacement parts. Hope it had some wheels for easy shoveling. All in all a good buy .

Just cleared 7" of snow rather easily. My old school shovel still served its purpose.

Nitro cordless snow thrower might work well in 2 inches of snow, but does not work in 4 or more. The unit clogs and shuts off. Not worth the money.

The first common sense snow clearing device. Snow can be heavy, clearing narrow swaths is a no brainer. You or the tool will never get bogged down or overworked.
