Considering this is the latest offering in the series, the gameplay disappoints in certain aspects. 1) The career mode gameplay gets too monotonous and very little action based choices. 2) You are always playing the same kind of matches in career mode, no surprise interactions with other characters; things that made previous versions so good. 3) The game play focuses too much on move reversals; If the AI player has a hold on you, you need to keep reversing the moves (Successfully) before you can attack back. On the postive aspects - the game looks to be graphically engaging and has lots of options for character customizations. This is far from their best work, but a good game nevertheless especially when you want to play with other human players

Really good game, simialr to last years gameplay wise....new features are fun, create your own characters, my favorite match is Royal Rumble...

This may the 1st time I say if you are not a fan of WWE than still try this game. The fighting mechanics are really good this year. There are a few hiccups but that come from little stuff like random clipping and annoying commentary. The roster is great and the possibility to add what ever you want from the community creations is amazing. My career could have been expanded on more but it was still good. Overall the game does many things good some great and only a handful lack. I would give this a go get it if you a fan of the series and go try it if this is your first one.

For the most part the game play is identical to 2k16.The submission game is the same and still annoying but does seem to be easier to win. You can switch it to another mini game which is actually so frustrating it makes the original game feel easy. Most of the changes are cosmetic, new characters and songs. The new moves from all the dlc are fun and worth their purchase. The Universe game play is a bit unnecessarily complicated with how they tried to give you more of in the show feel. Still lots of room for improvement but its still fun.

Now that the current generation consoles have been out for a few years, WWE 2k17 I'd the best installment of the series. With the deepest roster ever, WWE 2k17 continues to improve! There is aGM mode, a deep customization mode, online mode, and up to 6 of your friends can join in!

Gameplay is much improved from last years game. Multiplayer with friends is a lot easier than previous years, because you can switch who you are targeting by a simple click of the right stick. One thing to add, I was a big fan of the showcase mode in previous years, but it had been removed from this years installment.

last year wwe2k was ok but this one is 10 times better.

First some key wrestlers were taken off like Batista as compared to last year's game. Don't know why. also another setback of this game is it lackluster career mode it's boring repetitive, no cutscenes, fight same wrestlers and some of the challenges are really difficult. But gameplay has slightly improved it's easier and quicker to upgrade your character when compared to wwe 2k16, also backstage brawl was a much needed return hope they bring back other great past features. Also there is no showcase mode that highlights a superstar career like wwe 16, But overall it's a nice game far from a perfect wwe game from ps2 era but still worth a pickup at a discounted price.

Needs a bigger roster but graphics were great and loved playing it

If you like wrestling and WWE then this is a game for you. It's like all other wwe2k games. Great roster but lacking a showcase mode which the previous game had that made it good.

One of the better WWE games in recent years. Huge cast of wrestlers plus online play means plenty of hours of game play. It's all about timing and not button mashing. Commentary could have been much better.

I love that there's new wrestling members in the new version. The characters look real and better then last year version. Plus I got Goldberg so happy about playing as him.
