Capable Pool Robot With Some Great Features

Overall, this is an excellent pool cleaning robot that will definitely help to keep your entire pool nice and clean. It'll not only pick up all the larger debris such as leaves, pebbles, and bugs, but can also clean the fine particles out of your water with the ultra-fine cartridge on turbo floor clean mode. It also scrubs the floor, walls, and waterline and has many different modes to allow you to target exactly what you want.
PROS
- Cordless Operation
- Cleans Entire Pool on a Charge
- Can Help Clean Water via ultra-fine filter
- Easy to Setup and Use
- Large, Easy to clean Basket Captures Everything
CONS
- Ultra-Fine Filtering ONLY Available in One Mode
- AI Pro Vision Might be more Gimicky than Useful
- Not really "smart" as it moves in random pattern
This is actually my second WYBOT pool robot vacuum, as I have had the Osprey 700 Max for several years. I was very happy with it, but wanted a cordless pool robot to replace my other branded corded robot that had the ultra-fine filter to really clean the water as it's running and not just pick up debris off the floor. The C2Pro Vision seemed to have that feature as well as a powerful motor/suction and the cool AI Pro Vision Camera.
The first thing you need to know is that the Ultra-Fine filter seems to work GREAT for really filtering the water - it gets all the fine particles that would be left in your pool with a standard pool robot that doesn't do the ultra-fine filtering. However, what wasn't clear to me until I receive the robot and what is somewhat disappointing is that you can ONLY use the ultra-fine filter for ONE specific mode - Turbo Floor Cleaning. I assume this is because the power needed for the robot to work with the ultra-fine filter in place would be too much for all the other operations. My previous corded robot that the C2Pro replaced had a large ultra-fine basket that stayed in for all operations so that anytime the robot was cleaning anything, the water was getting cleaned and filtered as well. With the C2Pro you won't get that when cleaning the whole pool and/or walls and waterlines. You have to remove the ultra-fine filter for any operation other than Turbo Floor Cleaning. AND the instructions suggest that if you have a lot of debris on the floor, you should first clean that without the ultra-fine filter THEN run the Turbo Floor Cleaning with it. This limitation on the ultra-fine filtering is the reason for my 4-Star rating instead of 5. The robot works great in every other way - I just wish it could ultra-fine filter the entire time it's running regardless of the mode and I feel a little bit misled by the product description which brags a lot about the ultra-fine filter without clearly also mentioning the limitation. That being said, in Turbo Floor Cleaning mode, the ultra-fine filter does an excellent job of cleaning the water and capturing the super fine particles as it should so I am still happy with it and guess this is just a limitation of cordless battery operated pool robots versus my old corded one that had unlimited power.
In all other aspects, I love this robot. It charges fairly quickly - takes a few hours to fully charge. Then I can run it and clean my entire medium sized pool including walls, waterlines, and floors in one session. I absolutely love the cordless aspect of it. I will never own another corded robot. Not having to fuss with cords is great!
It was super easy to connect to the robot in the Wybot app which then allows you to select any of the several modes for specific cleaning - you can choose only floors, only walls, only waterlines, or a couple of different combinations of a few or all of these, including the before-mentioned turbo floor mode with the ultra-fine filter. As I have only had the pool robot for a week and we haven't had a storm or anything that deposits a lot of large debris on the floor, I haven't been able to really test out the AI Vision Mode yet. But since I am religious about running my pool robots regularly (isn't that the point of having a pool robot) to just keep my pool constantly clean, I don't know that I will ever use that since it's really only for targeting and pickup up visual debris. I guess it could be useful if you cleaned your pool on Friday and were having a party Saturday afternoon and Friday night there were high winds hat deposited a lot of debris into your pool, you could run it Saturday morning and have it target the debris. But in my mind, you could also just have it clean the whole floor and have the same end result...
The debris capturing basket on this robot is excellent! It's super easy to remove and clean and drop back into place. And the Ultra-Fine Filter is also easy to put in and take out and to rinse off after using. It does an excellent job of picking up all the tiny rocks, dirt, sand, leaves, insects, and other weird random things that somehow end up on my pool floor.
I do wish the robot were a little "smarter" - it doesn't map out your pool or anything, but cleans in one of several "patterns" and with a freeform swimming pool, those patterns tend to get thrown off a bit. So, like many other similar robots, if you run it for a full cleaning, some spots might get cleaned once and others might get cleaned ten times. I would trade the AI Vision "Debris Pickup" for AI Vision Smart Mapping any day. I'm sure we'll see those in the coming years. But for now, I can't complain because this robot is able to with a full charge, fully clean my pool with no problem - it may not do it in the smartest or most efficient way possible, but it gets the job done without me having to worry about it and that's the most important thing.
If you're looking for a great pool robot, this is definitely one I would recommend. WYBOT has been building these for quite some time now and is one of the leaders in the industry. My older Osprey 700 is still working great after several years. I was happy to upgrade to the C2Pro Vision with the added option for ultra-fine filtering (in spite of the limitations), the excellent debris basket design, the fast charging, the bonus AI Vision Debris Pickup (if I ever find a good reason to use it), and the fact that this pool robot really can do it all. It'll keep your walls, floors, and waterline scrubbed; it'll pick up all the debris using one of it's cleaning patterns; it can super clean your water from time to time with the ultra-fine filter; and you really can't beat the convenience of cordless operation. It's a great replacement for my much older corded pool vacuum and I'm very glad to have it.

Another Great WyBot Robot

Last year I got the Wybot C1 pro to clean the bottom and walls of my tile pool. I had talked to tech support at Wybot before making my purchase, as there was info about pool robots having a hard time climbing tile pools because they are so smooth. They assured me that their pool robots had enough water pressure to work properly. And they shipped additional "float" material with every robot if there was an issue. They were right, I had no problems. And I no longer had to scrub my walls or skim the leaves off the bottom of my pool. You see I have a 60'x60' ficus tree with about 250K leaves on it. They periodically fall and inevitably end up in the pool. When it's not windy I can run the floor robot about twice a week and all is good. When it's windy it's more like once a day. But the leaf bin would become very full. I was so happy with the results, I looked into the next model up, the C2 Pro Vis. Its leaf container is larger, and it has a camera to search out debris, rather than just stumbling upon it. I have to say that it works extremely well. When I get a big enough storm I'll know for sure, but it easily holds 50% more leaves. It is much easier to open, and it can run longer (not really a problem as my pool is fairly small). The C2 Pro is a little taller, and its suction is a bit stronger. They both have micro filtration (which works amazing well at catching fine debris). The robot both have heavy suction through the bottom, and a strong flow of water out the top (which pushes down on the robot on the floor, and out on the walls).
The C2 Pro Vision AI robot has more modes of operation; they both did a great job of preventing any water line issues. Neither did a great job on my square steps out of the pool. Both use the same Wybot app, which really only works when the robot is not in use to set up the mode you want the robot to operate in. Bottom only, Walls only, or both. And then the pattern you want it to use on the bottom and walls. And the C2 can do extra work on the waterline or go on a dirt hunting mission. The latter is quite interesting to watch, as it finds leaves one after another not moving in any given pattern. With my pool having say 100 leaves on the bottom it will find the largest concentration first, then the next largest etc, until it starts picking up single leaves. It moves pretty quickly and effectively sucks up each leaf. Keep in mind it's also filtering the water throught it filter as it goes. It has a turbo mode that includes a removable, cleanable HEPA filter. I used this in the winter when my pool's water is VERY clean, and it picked up a few traces of algae. I expect in the summer this is a bigger deal.
I'm happy to have upgraded, the C2 Pro Vision is a step up from the C1 pro, but the C1 pro did a great job on its own. But given the number of leaves I have a problem with, the C2 is the better choice for me. I do have a robotic solar skipper that helps keep the surface clear. The two together come close to giving me a low maintenance pool. Still have to backwash eccentric, but pool robots rule!

AWESOME CLEANER!!

The Wybot C2 pro is a top of the line cleaner in my mind. After charging for the first time, I turned it on and put it in my pool. I purposely hadn’t cleaned it for a week to test the unit out.
After about 30 seconds upon entering the water the C2 took off and started climbing the walls, utilizing the dual action rubber brushes, it thoroughly cleaned my walls. Then proceeded to bounce up and down on the tile above the water line. It cleaned the tile very well. This is great for the people who have issues with a calcium ring around the waterline of their pool. The top jet that is utilized to keep the C2 anchored on the floor and walls is extremely strong. Even when it is in the deep end (8 feet) the top of the water above it visibly bubbles or churns.
Once the walls were cleaned it worked on the floor in a pattern which cleaned it above my expectations. The electric eye is great for targeting debris to remove. The unit also comes with a filter for those with very fine sand or small debris that is too small for the basket to capture.
The C2 utilizes the same type technology that robot vacuums use. It maps the pool to ensure total cleaning
When the unit was finished cleaning, it parked itself on a wall for easy removal with the included hook.
The basket was easy to remove and clean, it is good to spray it down to clean off residual pool water.
You can choose the cleaning mode you desire from just walls to walls and floor to eco mode and fast clean. This can be done via the app or the unit controls.
The only little issue I had with it was steps I have a freeform pool with multiple steps. It encounter issues trying to navigate the steps on the curved areas of my pool. It took a bit but eventually overcame the obsticle.
I would highly recommend this to any and all pool owners as this unit cleans just as good if not better than higher priced ones.

Cordless & capable smaller robot with AI camera
|

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Verdict: The Wybot C2 ProVis is a capable cordless robot that cleans floors, walls, and the waterline. It cleans decently, especially if you have a smaller pool. It struggles a bit with full coverage in larger pools. Like most other robots, it seems that it cleans through repetition of random patterns rather than following intelligent mapping and following patterns.
Background. I have a 40’ x 20’ inground Gunite pool. We’ve had this pool for eight years now, maintaining it ourselves, cleaning by hand, then with a connected pool robot, and finally progressing to a rechargeable robot in 2025 (from a different brand). This Wybot is our second rechargeable robot.
Setup. As soon as I unpacked the remote, I put it to charge overnight (it arrived at 52%). In the morning, I set it up on the Wybot app. The app easily found the robot but could not connect to WiFi for some reason. I could still connect through Bluetooth to conduct the update. If it turns out that your robot is not climbing the walls of your pool, the box includes an additional floatation device to assist the robot in climbing different kinds of walls.
App. The app offers a lot of cleaning options: floor / wall / wall then floor / standard full pool / water line / turbo floor / eco floor / dirt hunting, with the option of choosing cleaning time (clean twice, three times, four times, with days in between), choosing floor patterns, and “extra-dirty pool clean.” This is quite extensive, but must be decided before the robot goes into the pool because signal does not travel through water. Of note, you do not need the app to use the robot; you can press the on button, and then press it again a few times to toggle between bottom, walls, or whole pool.
Performance. The robot starts cleaning within ~20 seconds of entering the water. It picks up leaves, dirt, bugs, and other debris fairly well as it drives around. However, the patterns don’t quite align with what I expected of smart navigation. Even when selecting patterns, the robot doesn’t quite replicate them. Because we have a fairly large pool, the 1 hour 45 min battery life is barely enough to clean the floor. My pool usually ends up about 90% clean (floor only), which is fine for me because the pool looks great and that’s without me having to vacuum by hand. The robot will clean walls and water line, and this works fairly well for my pool. It can sort of get up one step, but not the second step, which another robot can do. Again, this is not such a big deal for us since we prioritize cleaning the bottom first. Cleaning the basket is fairly easy, albeit still a bit time-consuming (retrieve the robot, get the basket, dump the contents, then rinse the basket and the filter, and then repeat). The robot features an AI camera that is industry-leading and supposedly gets better during the first month, however I only tested this robot for four days and have not been particularly impressed with AI features.
Things I love:
- Rechargeable robot so no cables needed
- Lots of cleaning modes
- It’s smaller and lighter than my other robot vacuum from another brand
- Strong cap to protect the charging cable
- Includes a retrieval hook
- 2-year warranty
- Two different filters; effective against algae
Things I don’t love:
- I wish the battery life was longer. The robot is smaller than other cordless ones I have seen and used, so I think a bit more size to pack more battery would have been a good idea. A longer battery life would make this robot more suitable for larger pools
- At this price, a cheap plastic base with wireless charging would be nice to quickly set the robot to charge without worrying about a wet connector
- The handle is a bit awkward to grab; it’s quite close to the bottom brush. I wish it was a bit more prominent and more towards the top for better pulling out of the pool with a hook or by hand
- I could not get the robot to connect to WiFi through the app. It’s a bit strange since the Wybot skimmer (same brand) easily connected to WiFi with the same app.
Overall, this a great little pool robot vacuum. If you have a larger pool like us, this robot will be limited by battery life, but it still does a decent job if you break up the tasks, getting to 90% clean on the floor only mode, and then using it again for the wall after a recharge. The price is reasonable, given many similar robots at higher price points.

Robotic Pool Cleaner with Ai Debris Detection

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
The Wybot C2 ProVis employs advanced sonar sensors with Ai camera, offering precise navigation, debris & obstacle detection and avoidance, resulting in faster & complete pool cleaning. My old pool cleaner got stuck on floor drains. Obstacle avoidance eliminates this problem.
You can leave the unit in the pool & it will run automatically each day. See image I attached that shows run time for 2 - 4 days on one battery charge. It has a 4600 mAH Lithium battery.
The Main Filter Basket has a 180 micron screen that will collect larger particles & leaves.
It also has a lid that prevents debris from escaping.
The second Ultra-Fine Filter is a 10 micron filter that collects very small particles including algae.
If the pool is excessively dirty it is not recommended to use the fine filter, as it will clog quickly.
Most pool cleaners only have the Filter basket.
I like the Rapid Water release when you lift it from the pool with extra drain vents. It works with all shape pools and goes up and over steps very well.
CONCLUSION:
What I like most about the Wybot C2 ProVis Robot Pool Cleaner is how little time it requires to clean our pool compared with my old pool cleaner & how effectively it cleans without my involvement! It earns my highest recommendation.

Works well but condensation?

I got the Wybot C2Pro and unlike their skimmer, this comes with an AC power adapter. It arrived with 53% battery. Adding it to the app is simple. There was already a firmware update and is easy to install and apply. It comes with a filter and hook. One big warning I almost missed is that “signal can not transmit through the water, so keep the robot out of the pool when presetting”.
The filter installation is easy. Pretty much just drop it in. There are 7 different modes. I used standard mode and it does a good job. I can see the areas cleaned as it runs over it. The instructions say not to use the ultra fine filter in most modes except for turbo floor mode only. And if the floor is very filthy or soiled, do not use it.
I pulled it out of the pool and set the mode to wall then floor. Again, make sure these are done outside the water. It is climbing up along the wall then drops, adjust itself, then moves to the next area and climbs again... rinse and repeat.
After a couple of days of use, I started to notice some condensation getting in near the LED lights. It does not seem to affect the operation but I was concerned. It did go away. I will continue to monitor and take photos just in case I need to open a support ticket.
Other than that, it’s a cool robot to clean the bottom of the pool and the walls. I am glad that it came with a charging cable. I tried to use it with Wybot’s skimmer. It does not come with a charging cable. It primarily charges with the solar panels. But it looks like it’s not compatible.

The Robot Pool Cleaner from Wybot, C2 ProVis, at glance focused on cleaning does complete the task. Based on the usage in short time, its result shows picking up from little tiny dust at the bottom of the pool to covering the full size of the pool climbing the wall.
Before going in further details, the package comes with:
- The Robot Cleaner
- Charing Cable
- Floating Blocks
- 2 Filters (these are two different types of filters: Ultra-Fine Filter & Filter Basket)
- Quick Start Guide.
The robot has following controls form hardware side:
1. Handle
2. Sonar Sensor
3. LED Indicator, it has 5 leds for different status indication.
4. On/Off Button
5. Pump
6. Charging Port
7. Track
8. Scrubbing Brush
9. Camera (only for the model CYPRO Vision)
From the App, allows to control
1. Cycle Timer for floor cleaning only
2. Extra-dirty Pool Clean
3. Cleaning Mode - offer 8 different combinations.
4. Expert Mode
Other Specification for C2Pro Vision
- It works for pool size of 150m2 to 180m2
-Minimum Water Depth 9.8ft (3m)
-Charging Time: 3 Hours
-Power 65W
-Battery Capacity 4600mAh
-Filtration: 180um+Ultra Fine Filter
-Water Resistance: IPX8
-Moving Speed: 10m/min
Now. after having charged fully it need to be added to the App, which require user id/pass as any app.
Once added, it performs software/firmware update. In between, from the App need to setup the WiFi Connection for the device.
The initial process is quite same or straight as any other device independently of being robot type or not.
Cleaning
Once selected the Cleaning Mode, and placed in the pool, the C2Pro Vision initiates the cleaning automatically. It doesn’t require a specific Start button on the robot or from the application. Once placed within the water, after couple of seconds start moving. Depending on the Cleaning Mode selected from the App, it would complete the task. For the test I have used the mode Standard Full Pool, which cover the wall. Other modes are Floor (2H), Wall, Wall then Floor, Water Line, Turbo Floor (1H) , Eco Floor (3) and Dirty Hunting.
Filter Basket Cleaning
Once the cleaning is completed, cleaning the basket might result in time consuming a bit. As the filter net is being very fine that has tiny dust or things, and being deep, noticed it was a bit hard to remove them. If there were only small amount, doesn’t become an issue.
What I wish it work better
1. WiFi Reliability: The device doesn’t remain or doesn’t show connected to the WiFi during the prep. It support only 2.4GHz, but two of issues I experienced: first doesn’t detect the list of WiFi names available to connect despite of being nearby the router. Had to move around until find it and some time could see the list or not. Secondly, after having connected, from the app doesn’t show it is connected to the internet. On the other hand, as side observation, not sure why it needs WiFi Connection when it cannot be used while it is under water. Otherwise there isn’t purpose. For firmware update could have been done via Bluetooth connection via app. It feels it has complicated a bit the design.
2. App Functionality:
2.1 it is bit odd the user experience. For instance, from the main screen, while selection of the Cleaning Mode, and tap Cycle Timer, it shows by the selected mode. But the Cycling Timer shows it is for floor cleaning mode.
2.2. Cant tell from the App when the charging is completed if I am away from the robot in charing mode. Need to go next to it to know the status.
2.3. While it is in cleaning mode, and away from the pool, can’t have notification when it is done or how much left. Understandably, while it is immerse in the water can’t be connected to the App. But the lack of such feature makes the user pending on it next to the pool. Neither a notification to receive as optional during the setup
2.4. Can’t indicate in the app the profile of the pool, like dimensions data.
3. Camera: its capability is only available for cleaning mode Dirt Hunt.
4. Pool water condition: as part of safety instruction, it states to use the device for chemical conditions of Chlorine, pH, Temperature, NaCI. Considering the device as advanced and robotic and there is such condition of water, it lacks its measurement detection from the device to update in the App.
In bottom line, it does clean. I used it as compliment while brushing the pool with the actual brush such that I don’t have to pick up dirt with net. However it takes quite a time to complete. However, its user experience and considering “Robot” and “Camera”, comes quite short to its type.

Pool Cleaner Robot with AI Vision Algorithm

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
This is a review of the Wybot C2Pro Vision, which I tested in my rectangular pool, measuring 11 ft x 31.5 ft (346.5 sq ft / 32.2 sqm) surface, 4 ft to 5 ft deep, and with wide stairs.
The pool cleaner robot comes fully assembled with a separately packaged ultra-fine filter you might not need (more on this later) and a hook (which fits into a standard pool pole, not provided) you will need to fish out the robot once it completed cleaning and parked along a wall. As with all battery-powered devices, before first use, the robot needs to be fully charged (which might take up to 3 hours depending on battery level).
Once fully charged and powered on, I recommend installing the Wybot app on your smartphone to provide information on your pool shape, bottom slope, and pool material, followed by cleaning mode (I selected "Expert Mode", "S-Pattern" for the floor, and "N-Pattern" for the wall, as well as "Standard Full-Pool"). The Wybot app can also update the robot's software if you get to connect it to your 2.4 MHz Wi-Fi network. (I needed to manually type my Wi-Fi network SSID name along with the Wi-Fi password to connect because my Wi-Fi uses one SSID for both 2.4 and 5 GHz; the app was not able to "see" my network.)
Before you put the robot in the water, make sure it's still powered on (it auto-powers off after 3 minutes). Note that once your robot is in the water, the app cannot communicate with the robot anymore. There is no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth in the water. It starts clearing the pool within seconds once it's in the water.
Interestingly enough, though the robot comes with AI Vision Algorithm Technology to ultimately determine a smart cleaning path, it did not follow my settings from before ("S-Pattern" for the floor, and "N-Pattern" for the wall). Instead, it randomly selected paths. However, according to the user manual, "once the machine has completed its directional vision training, there is a potential for a 20-fold increase in cleaning efficiency." The system continually learns and improves with each use. As such, I am hopeful that the robot will clean following smart patterns to increase efficiency and effectiveness. After 2 hours and 15 minutes, the robot's battery was exhausted, and it parked itself along a wall for pick-up with the provided hook. I noticed the robot uses a lot of effort when trying to clean the stairs/steps. I was not even sure what it was trying to do. Also, here I am hopeful that the AI might teach the robot something to handle stairs in a smarter manner.
After pool cleaning is over, you should clean the filters under running water. According to the user manual, there is no need to install the ultra-fine filter unless you want to operate the robot in "turbo floor mode" should the pool floors be heavily soiled.
Verdict: I am giving the Wybot C2Pro Vision 4 stars (out of 5 stars) as I believe it does a decent job cleaning the walls, floors, and the waterline. Though I cannot tell if the robot was able to clean everything before exhausting its battery, I am hopeful that the AI Vision Algorithm Technology teaches the robot to become more efficient and effective with every use. It's relatively light and it's easy to fish out the pool after cleaning completion.

Great vacuum pool bot.

Owning a pool has its ups and downs.
The ups all the activities and things that make pools fun.
The downs. All the maintenance that comes with pools.
One of the dreaded maintenance is the clean the bottom of the pool. Taking the net out and trying to skim the bottle for leaves dirt and other debris can be taxing. Especially if you are not as young as you used to be.
Well Wybot C2 is here to help with not having to net the bottom of your pool as much along with scrubbing your walls and your tiled waterline.
Setup of the C2 is super simple. Unbox. Follow the quick start instructions. Can charge the bot. Download the app and follow the prompts and you are ready to clean. Oh wait. Make sure you update the firmware. Don't do what I did which was use the C2 first then update. I guess you could but I ended up not being able to use it more than twice on the first charge.
Anyway. My pools is about 20x15 and my Jacuzzi is 9x9. All dimensions are in feet. The pool was a cinch for the C2. It methodically took care of the walls then the floor. Of course that's the option I picked. There are other presets to pick from but I chose this one.
Watching the C2 ballast up and down the walls was pretty neat. Also it hovered at the waterline to scrub my tiles. That was good too. Then it went for the floor.
Overall the main pool it did a great job.
Then I moved it to my Jacuzzi that had a seat all the way around it. It struggled a bit because of the seat. But it eventually got it done.
The only other limitation that it had was the underwater light. It kinda struggled to get over the pool and Jacuzzi light.
Emptying the bot was easy. I have a salt pool so it picked up a bunch of the residual salt.
Overall good value for not having to manually net the bottom the pool and to tidy up before or after a pool party. It took about 1.5 hours to get through my main pool and about the same for my Jacuzzi.
So make sure you plan around your party if you want to use this before your event.
Also make sure your not is charged up.
I would recommend this prod for what it was intended.

Great battery powered vacuum
|

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
The WYBOT C2 Pro Vision is an overall solid battery powered pool vacuum, and it’s substantially better than the Roomba-style battery pool vacuums I’ve used in the past.
There’s virtually no setup required. You open the box, take it out, charge it, turn it on, and toss it in the water. The power adapter is covered by a screw-on cap that’s meant to keep it watertight. While it seems fine so far, I do have some concerns about how reliable that seal will be long-term.
The app is surprisingly useful. I expected it to just show basic info, but it actually lets you customize the pool type and cleaning options. I have a 14 x 28 rectangular in-ground pool with a standard hopper, and a 14-foot round above-ground pool at my other house. The app allows you to create separate profiles for each pool, which is really convenient. For context, my in ground pool is salt water, and my above ground is chlorine, and it has had no issues in either.
In terms of cleaning performance, it does a very good job. It spends a lot of time scrubbing the walls as it climbs up and down, and I don’t have any concerns about it damaging my liner. It operates very similarly to my corded vacuums, which was reassuring. I’ll be interested to see how it does when the weather heats up and wall scrubbing because a must.
So far, battery life seems to be good for one full cleaning cycle in my in-ground pool, which works out to around three hours. I actually like this vacuum better for my above-ground pool, mainly because it’s smaller and I can get more out of a single charge.
I have this as a combo set with the skimmer, and together they make a really solid pair. I suspect the skimmer will dramatically cut down how much actual vacuuming is needed, which helps offset the single-clean-per-charge limitation.
I’ve attached a photo showing how this vacuum compares in size to my two corded Dolphin vacuums, just to give a sense of how beefy it is. I’m really impressed with the size, weight, and overall build quality. It feels every bit as solid as my corded units.
Overall, this really comes down to evaluating your needs. There are clear benefits to both battery powered and corded vacuums. For me, the battery option actually makes more sense since I maintain two pools and need something that’s easy to transport between them. The battery vacuum always stores away so much easier than the corded ones. However, I do like the ability to throw my corded vacuum in the pool during the summer, take a short trip, and know it’s cleaning automatically every day.

I really wanted to like the WYBOT C2. I’ve been using an older WYBOT S2 for a couple of years now, and while it’s fairly basic and starting to show its age, it has been extremely reliable. The C2, on the other hand, is a very different product on paper. It’s packed with smart features, connects via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and includes a built-in camera and AI that are supposed to improve cleaning performance and allow for more customization.
For context, my pool is a little over 20 feet long by 13 feet wide and includes a spa that spills into the pool, a splash deck, and three steps leading into the shallow end. I typically use a suction-side pool vacuum connected to my pump, which does a good job on the floor but doesn’t clean the walls. One of the main reasons I was excited about the C2 was its ability to clean both the floor and walls. My older S2 also climbs and cleans the stairs without issue, and I regularly drop it into the spa where it does a surprisingly good job climbing to the second level and picking up debris. I expected the C2 to at least match, if not exceed, that performance.
Unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to those expectations. Battery life never came close to the advertised two hours. The cleaning modes were hit or miss. When I selected a grid-style cleaning pattern in the app, the robot didn’t follow it at all. Instead, it moved around in a haphazard manner and missed several areas with visible dirt and debris.
The C2 also struggled significantly with the stairs. It almost never approached them straight on, instead hitting them at an angle and failing to climb—something my older S2 does consistently without any trouble. I tried the dirt-finder mode, and while it did a decent job locating dirty areas on the floor, it completely ignored the walls and wouldn’t even attempt the steps in that mode.
I also tested the C2 in the spa, selecting the spa setting in the app. Even in such a small area, the cleaning pattern was again very random, and it missed several spots where debris had collected.
If there’s one area where the C2 clearly outperformed my old S2, it was wall cleaning. It did a noticeably better job scrubbing the walls. However, even there, the inconsistent navigation meant it still didn’t clean everything as thoroughly as I’d hoped.
Overall, the WYBOT C2 ProVis feels like an average robotic pool vacuum. It won’t be replacing my standard pool vacuum anytime soon. Compared to my older S2, the C2 suffers from weaker battery life, inconsistent and unintelligent cleaning patterns, and poor performance on stairs and in the spa. For those reasons, I’m giving it a three-star review.

Wybot C2 ProVis is next level. It is a compact yet powerful cordless robotic pool cleaner. Wybot’s next generation cleaner and it is very cool! Like the previous versions, this is basically a robot vac like you use in the house, but for the pool. No more vacuuming the bottom or brushing the walls. This has been a wonderful tool for keeping our pool clean and further adds to our enjoyment by reducing the workload associated with maintaining a pool.
Cleaning Performance:
This new era C2 ProVis does a phenomenal job cleaning on all the pool surfaces. It creates and utilizes an upward jet of water to vacuum leaves and debris from the pool while pushing the unit down to the pool surface to give it traction while “walking” around. That downward jet force presses the unit down on the bottom and the walls allowing it to climb the walls and use its large rotation brushes to scrub everywhere, including the waterline tiles up to about an inch above the waterline. We have a large freeform pool, so this feature really cuts down the amount of time I need to spend scrubbing the bottom and walls. Having this bot to do all the wall scrubbing automatically is a huge convenience for me, and it does a great job. There are two large scrubbing rollers that constantly spin and eliminate that green tinge on the pool walls. This literally eliminates hours a week of work and effort since I maintain and clean my own pool. I like to run this in the mornings when my filter pumps are on high so that any algae stirred up off the walls is then filtered out immediately and that works very well. The vacuuming portion can easily handle debris on the bottom like leaves, sticks, and beads. The debris bin is simple to remove and easy to empty into the trash, then I just spray it out with the hose and replace it back into the vacuum. My only complaint would be that the basket could be a little larger if I planned to leave the unit in for multiple days at a time. It can fill up and lose its effectiveness if the basket gets full, just need to pay attention to it and empty as needed.
Navigation and Mapping:
The AI driven debris detecting camera is an industry first and helped this unit’s navigation system learn our pool’s floor plan quickly and efficiently. This along with its advanced sonar sensors make the unit perform just like an in-house floor vacuum, it does a great job of finding its way around and transitions up and down the floor to walls automatically based on what setting I’m using. It even has the ability to easily handle our various stairs, drains, intakes, jets, and lights throughout the pool. The unit navigates its way throughout the pool for a thorough clean without getting stuck and then finds its way back to a wall and ends its cycle there for easy retrieval with the included hook attachment for my pool pole.
Battery Life:
Battery life is sufficient for cleaning even larger pools more than once per charge. It has a built-in 4600 milliampere hour lithium battery providing up to 180 minutes of continuous run time. Our pool surface area is about 720 sq ft and it is 8 feet deep at the deep end. That overall area plus the walls make for quite the task when brushing and cleaning by hand, but this takes care of the whole thing more than once in a single charge.
Smart Features:
The app works great. Simple to set up and works well for connecting and applying certain cleaning preference settings.
Maintenance:
Very simple. I just charge it, empty the debris bin, and rinse the filter after each use. Nothing else needed to keep this going strong. If your pool has a lot of debris you may need to clean the filter and basket more frequently, but that’s it.
Build Quality and Durability:
The build quality and durability of the robot vacuum feel solid and durable. Mostly plastic and rubber as it is a submergible, but all seem like solid components and built to last season over season. The rubberized drive treads and brush drums are made of thick and durable rubber for long lifespan. I’ve had a previous version and it has lasted several years without issues.
Overall I love this thing. It has really helped in keeping our pool sparkling clean without the angry resentment that comes along with the leg work of keeping it that way.

The Wybot C2 Pro Vis Pool Cleaner has proven itself to me as a super effective pool cleaner and time saver. I push a button, slip it into my pool and forget about it till the end of the day. The C2 scrubs the walls, then the pool floor, and the pool entry steps. I particularly like the way it scrubs the waterline. In order to keep my pool looking pristine, the waterline requires a daily brushing. It is not too time consuming, but a pain. Now that chore is accomplished by the C2 without any human intervention. My pool is inside a screened lanai, so debris is minimal; however, particles that are very small (such as wind driven sand) or that enter the pool on the feet and attire of swimmers necessitate good filtration and manual use of a pool debris pole with a fine net -- to keep my pool looking enticing. That now happens with virtually zero effort thanks to the C2. The C2 has a small footprint and is light weight enough to be easily handled with one hand on its handle. The Wybot Application that enables control of the cleaner is very straight forward and connects via bluetooth (you must have your smart phone or tablet within bluetooth range to change settings). Regarding actual cleaning ability, the C2 has a large chamber for debris and an excellent fine mesh filter system. The filter system is opened as if it were a drawer, easily rinsed with a hose, or outdoor faucet, and easily repositioned for cleaning. It couldn't be more effortless. BTW: the cleaner is very quiet, never hinders conversations in the pool or near the pool. A feature I like is that recharging the C2 battery is relatively quick and extremely easy. Plug the charger into an outlet and in roughly 4 hours it is at full charge and ready to go. Are their unique features? The Wybot App enables several cleaning modes. You may set it to do only walls, or only floors, or walls then floors, or vice versa. It has a special dirt seeking setting where the C2 focuses on an area where its vision camera "HUNTS" dirt. It then goes back and forth over the area until the dirt is no longer detected. This feature was remarkable to me. It is not needed frequently, but when needed, it is precious. Any problems? I was unable to get the C2 connected to my WiFi, which would have extended the range of communicating (though you cannot connect when the C2 is under water as the radio signals do not penetrate the water). My pool water temperature right now is approximately 60 degrees F. The first day of use the cleaner stopped at the bottom of the pool. Neither my wife or I wanted to enter the chilly water to relieve the C2. The C2 came with a hook, but not a pole of any kind. I purchased an inexpensive boat hook and the problem of retrieval is history. Consider purchasing a pool pole that will accept the Wybot furnished hook, or buy a boat hook so that you will never have to enter the pool to retrieve the C2. I recommend this pool cleaner without any reservations. It will save you time and effort to solely enjoy your pool.

Wybot - C2 ProVis Robot Pool Cleaner Very impressive.
Packaging - All the extra foam and packing kept the vacuum in place during transit. Box and marketing materials very impressive and professional. The branding and colors looks very crisp and made it exciting to open the contents.
Quality and weight of the vacuum is very substantial but easy to pull out of the water with the hook. I really liked how easy it was to connect and download the app to the vacuum. The lights helps to inform which cleaning mode the device is set to for cleaning. The big wheels and belts assist the vacuum in cllimbing the walls and cleaning as expected. Charging is easy, although I wish it was a longer cord, way too short to plug into the socket which sits about 8 foot from the pool. I understand if it was too long it could be a bad thing for the vacuum, but another foot or 2 of cord and a bit more durable cord would be appreciated. The charger looks like something I would use with a small speaker or radio type device, not something that is of this quaiity or size. Hoping it will endure over time and not have to be replaced.
Definitely would recommend the robot for cleaning any 20 x 40 inground pool. Ours is rectangle with steps at the end and no issues. Just can’t give it 5 stars due to the charging cord and charger itself.

I would have given this 5 stars but the app and the initial setup is kinda difficult. I was lucky to have a Z-fold android phone that allows for proper spacing on the app. At first I was disappointed, because I tried it in normal viewing mode. Also, the initial cleaning pattern seemed to miss debris but once I figured out the best pattern for my pool (for me it is the S pattern for the floor) and the robot learned my pool and the stairs, etc. After the first couple of sessions, it started doing a better job and it does what the advertising says it will do. Does it get everything nor is it flawless to operate. But it picks up 99% of the debris. But, just like its skimmer companion, 99% is better than me spending hours manually cleaning the pool. I can’t ask for more than that. Oh and the battery works for 3-5 hours, which is normally good enough. Outside of the app issues, maybe try using a tablet, it has worked as advertised and no more power cable to worry about, getting tangled or wrapping around you or your guests in the summer time. Just easy cleaning and more time to enjoy your pool.

I've have a very large oval shaped pool. It has gradually sloping sides and goes from 3 feet to about 8 feet at it's deepest. I've used a corded robotic cleaner fort quite some time and have liked it, all except for the long cord always stretched across my pool deck. I thought this robot might be a good opportunity to try a truly cordless option and even get done AI features at the same time. Unfortunately the robot didn't quite live up to the promise.
The robot itself feels well built. It's solid, easy to empty and the brush and treads seen high quality. If taken care of I imagine it will last for a long time.
Setting this robot up was where I ran into my first problem. There is an app used to control the different modes of the robot and during setup three are two options, connecting via Bluetooth or wifi. I had no problem connecting with Bluetooth, but for some reason wifi will not connect. It appears there is a bug in the software where if you're wifi network name has a space in it, the app will not recognize the full wifi network name, even if you manually enter. This is a pretty big big and completely prevents remote control.
Inn practices the robot works ok. There are several different modes to clean the bottom, just the sides outer both. There is also an ai dirty hunter mode. I've ran the vacuum a few times and have noticed it leaves quite a bit odd dirty behind. I assume this is due to the large pool and the battery just dying before a full clean is complete.
This vacuum doesn't come to the surface when done, it stays at the bottom and you have to fish it out with a hook, which is somewhat annoying.
Given this vacuum doesn't clean my whole pool before doing, I would say this isn't a good option for those with a large pool.

Robotic pool cleaners are getting as advanced as floor cleaners; autonomous, cordless, and with intelligent navigation. If we expect these features in a floor robot, why not a pool cleaner? The Wybot C2 Vision Pro gives you all those features for what you'd expect to pay for a high-end floor bot. You get a relatively small form factor with powerful suction and AI camera with sensors to decide for itself where to go.
The unit looks well thought out with a compact yet sturdy and capacious body. The plug connector is tightly capped with rubber seals to prevent contact with water. The multifunction power button is prominently placed for easy access next to the indicators for basic programs. The Wybot app is comprehensive and easy to navigate. It connected easily via Bluetooth, requested access to Wi-Fi and updated the firmware without issue. Upon first laying eyes on it, I wondered how I would get it out of the pool without a top handle. The front bumper is to be used as a handle and grab area for the included hook attachment (for your skimmer pole). The internal debris basket is about the size of my previous unit's 2 baskets, so I don't envision it being filled too quickly.
I tested it out twice in my freeform 20x36' inground pool. The claimed 180 minute run time is questionable as I only got about 145 minutes the first time and 100 the second. I ran it a third time, but only to test the dirty area tracking. Out of 8 programs on the app, I chose the diagonal run in expert mode for floor and wall. It generally stuck to the program, adjusting based on the curvature of the wall. Like my old unit, it didn't manage to stick to the wall on convex curvatures and slipped quite a bit on concave surfaces. The second time, I used Turbo Floor mode and inserted the included HEPA filter for 10 micron particulate. I really didn't notice any enhanced cleaning, though the filter was lightly soiled afterward suggesting it worked. Finally, I tried the Dirt Hunting mode to see if it finds the areas in the interior curves and deep end edges. It hunted for a while, but ultimately found and cleaned most of the debris using multiple passes. A major problem with my previous bot was that it never managed the steps and seat areas. I have wide steps running the width of the pool in the shallow area; the first a foot deep, second is 2 feet deep (more of a seating area) and third barely a foot at the deepest part. The Wybot managed the first 2 without issue and the third, it couldn't get to. The included hook attaches to the skimmer pole and makes it easy to get the robot near the edge for retrieval. I'm not sure I would pull it out of the water with it, since the water must drain from it first.
I'm happy with this unit and think it does a very good job for what it's meant to do. The battery lasts just long enough to do the whole pool once and get back to the place I dropped it in for easier retrieval. It works like a household floor robot vacuum and has the ability to learn your pool.

I got this pool cleaner to compliment my pool skimmer. I have struggled with keeping on top of algee at times on the floor of my pool, and I'm hoping this will help. I got this in the off season where I live and was able to see if I liked it or not at a family member’s house in Arizona. There are plenty of bugs and lemon and orange tree leaves that need to be kept clean here. I was there for a week and used this 3 times, and can't wait to try this in my pool here this late spring. This thing works well. Out of the box no real assembly, just housekeeping getting packing stuff out. It has extra floatation stuff in case it can’t climb the walls right, but I didn't not need that. It also has additional micro filter for use on turbofloor clean mode only because it won't climb the walls right with that filter in it. Set up was easy on the app. It has wifi and Bluetooth to monitor it’s progress. Once it wad connected to the app, it did a firmware update. It comes with a charger and I did make sure before first use I had it fully charged. When I put it on regular clean (walls and floor) it took off and did it’s thing. I let it run for over 2 hours the first day (pool that takes up about 250 square feet with varying depths) and it seemed to make it all over and had a out 25% left on battery. It made it around the bulk of the pool and collected almost everything except a few stray leaves. There was no algee to see if it would have been successful up by this. Overall, I feel this does well for what it is and will help me immensely by allowing me to multitask and do other things with my time off. I have no reason to deduct any points, five stars. My family member is likely going to get one now to save time.

The Wybot Robot pool cleaner arrived when it was frigid here in the south and got lost in the mail thanks but made its way to me. Once it warmed enough that I could uncover the pool, I spent the last 7 days with this robot.
I have had to other robots before and this is my first Wybot. Right off the bat, easy setup, quick charge I noticed it ran for almost3 hours on each charge.
The suction power on this robot, has to be class leading because it was getting all the small stuff in the bottom that I missed from my previous cleanings. It comes with a 65w motor!
It climbed the walls, steps and even rode the sides of the waterline.
Its smart in a sense, but not map based so it tended to miss a few spots or ran over some areas a alot. But in a 3 hours session it looked much different and much cleaner. The filtration system, is very good as it captured sand particles that got blown in the pool.
For the price point this sists at, its really good value and now replaces my other much more expensive robot. I enjoy this one especially paired with the skimmer robot from Wybot!
