The Wybot Robot pool cleaner arrived when it was frigid here in the south and got lost in the mail thanks but made its way to me. Once it warmed enough that I could uncover the pool, I spent the last 7 days with this robot. I have had to other robots before and this is my first Wybot. Right off the bat, easy setup, quick charge I noticed it ran for almost3 hours on each charge. The suction power on this robot, has to be class leading because it was getting all the small stuff in the bottom that I missed from my previous cleanings. It comes with a 65w motor! It climbed the walls, steps and even rode the sides of the waterline. Its smart in a sense, but not map based so it tended to miss a few spots or ran over some areas a alot. But in a 3 hours session it looked much different and much cleaner. The filtration system, is very good as it captured sand particles that got blown in the pool. For the price point this sists at, its really good value and now replaces my other much more expensive robot. I enjoy this one especially paired with the skimmer robot from Wybot!

i finally grabbed the Wybot C2 ProVis robot pool cleaner for my backyard pool and i’ve been using it for a few weeks now and overall it’s been pretty awesome. this thing actually does the floor, walls, and waterline all by itself and leaves the water way clearer than when i dragged the old manual vac out every weekend. i love that it’s cordless and rechargeable so no cords getting tangled everywhere and no having to hold anything while it works. the suction is surprisingly strong and with the dual filtration system it catches everything from leaves to tiny dust and sand. emptying and rinsing the filters is super easy too. just lift the cover and rinse with water. the app control is neat. i can schedule cleanings, pick modes like floor only, walls, waterline, or full pool, and even choose different cleaning paths right from my phone before i even step in the yard. love that it does the job while i’m inside chilling or running errands. battery life is pretty solid. i usually get around three hours in eco mode which covers my whole pool. it also charges fairly quick so i can get it back in the water without waiting forever. it’s worked well on all the surfaces i’ve tried so far and hasn’t had any issues climbing walls. the navigation is generally smart so it doesn’t just bump around randomly, but sometimes it gets stuck in tighter spots or spends extra time in corners. still way better than me dragging a hose around every weekend though. the lights on it make it easy to tell when it’s done or when the battery is getting low. the only small downside is the app takes a minute to get used to if you’re not very techy, but once it’s set up it’s mostly hands off. overall i’m really happy with this cleaner. it’s made pool maintenance way easier and gives me more time to actually enjoy the pool instead of cleaning it all the time. if you want something you can mostly set and forget, this one does a really solid job.

I am the designated pool cleaner at my house , even though I was the only one who did not want the pool to begin with. We have a liner with steps and a tanning deck. It is a 20 x 40 ft with 8 ft max depth. It would not take me too long to clean since we had an in-floor cleaning system that would help localize the dirt and debris into a few areas. Still, I was spending more time cleaning than using the pool. I finally decided to bite the bullet and get the robot cleaner, and I am so happy I did. I just put it in the pool before I go to bed at night (or first thing in the morning depending on the day) and the pool is ready to go. It cleans it within a couple of hours and does at least as good of a job as me, if not better. It has multiple run modes controlled by the app or on the robot to target specific areas or full clean or speed clean. This version has a camera to use a mode to specifically target dirt without covering the whole pool area. This feature seems to work well, but it's hard for me to compare to the regular cleaning. It does my steps pretty well, although some of the really tight angles and creases are not possible for it to get. As long as I brush these areas out first, it will get everything else. It is easy to clean the filters, so not much maintenance is needed. It says it will take about a month of use to figure out the pool and really get the best clean, but so far I am very happy. Customer service has been very helpful with any questions I have had, which gives you more peace of mind for a purchase like this.

Adds friction instead of removing it.

Not sure what I expected from this. But it does not increase convenience, with the way you need to manually dip it in the pool. And manually fetch it out, every single cleaning cycle. If it had enough battery life to clean for limited time every day and only needed charging and fetching every week, it would be a different story. Perhaps its for occasional circumstances and that's my plan with it now honestly. Can't be bothered with this every day. Lets take a step back with how you use it, there is an app (because ofcourse there is), but it is so clunky, and feels like it was coded over a weekend. You get to setup what type of pool you have (the shape and the surface material). And then you can select the cleaning mode. There was a firmware update waiting when I initially loaded up the app. And it did seem to add a couple more modes. But I have only selected the Standard mode. And then its pretty much turn it on and dunk it in the pool. The robot sinks slowly, calibrates itself, and off it goes. My pool was not too dirty, but it still took the robot about 2 goes (charge , full clean and charge, to get all the dirt and leaves off the floor. And ofcourse the way it works, I had to take it out (using the plastic hook provided, attached to my own pool pole), and put it up for charge outside. Go back outside, unplug it, close the charging port, and then dunk it in the pool again. I saw some people complain about the fact that there is no remote control to manually manuever the robot. People - bluetooth doesn't travel under water, so you will lose connection, there is no controlling it under water. Its fire and forget. Its decent, perhaps my expectations were too high.
